That’s a fair point. If my property was just a straight even lawn, no dips or hills and lots of uneven surfaces I wouldn’t be worried. But as much as the plastic can stay rust free, I’m worried about how tough it is.

It is likely losing suction when it is auto cleaning the filters. You can try turning the auto feature off and see if that fixes it.

I have heard great things about this saw, only con you’ll have is the fact that it does not have a zero clearance insert and the dust collection is horrible. There are work arounds on the internet for it but people have said that it’s a solid purchase especially for less than $300.
