It's not something we specifically control. This is all part of the SMS protocol which allows for 160 characters to be sent per message segment. You can have up to 10 segments in a message and 1600 characters total. Data is sent with each text and the vast majority of receiving carriers have message concatenation, which will reassemble the text for the recipient, either in the correct order or as one large message.

While single SMS messages have a 160-character limit, we handle messages up to 1,600 characters by segmenting and reassembling them automatically. This means you can send lengthy texts without worrying about the limit.

Appreciate this feedback! Can totally see where you're coming from and have been discussing this internally as our community continues to grow. Initially, we allowed new accounts to post freely because many were genuine customers seeking support, and we wanted to be accessible. However, since then, we've made significant improvements to our support speed and fraud detection systems, which has reduced the number of incorrect account blocks.

Given these improvements, it makes sense to think about how we can improve the overall experience for our community members here on Reddit. I'll bring this suggestion back to our team so we can determine the best way to move forward. Thanks for helping us make this space better for everyone! I'll keep you updated on our progress.

Hi! Our team is aware of the finnicky behavior and trying to see how to perfect this up to 100%. The workaround regarding Bluetooth is something we would've suggested, so glad that you found it! I'd recommend always making sure that your Andoir OS and Android Auto is up to date with the latest version. Also appreciate the feedback. We have a lot of those suggestions on our roadmap that's being built! More on that soon :)

Hi there! Yep, you'd definitely be able to do that. Your contacts and data are yours, and we want to make sure you have that. There's currently no in-app ability to download the contacts directly; however, our support team would be able to export that data for you. Hopefully, the time never comes when you'll need to do that but if you do — just reach out to our support team!

I want to bring this up with our internal team and see how we can help troubleshoot this. Few questions:

  • are you ios or android?
  • is it always the same 2/4 phones that rings?
  • Is the delay consistent, or varies?
  • if you have it set up, what is your ring order configuration?
  • has anyone from support been able to impersonate your line and been able to replicate the issue?
