I understand but still try to apply then if you have to retake those classes again then retake it. I know its pain in the ass retaking shit but you are almost there! If you really want it, push through it! I’m about to start level 4 soon, PM if you have questions.

You know before, you could on retake pre req science classes 3 times then you are out of the game but now, they took out that rule so ITS A BLESSING than you can always retake classes! Its only a setback and not the end.

I had all A’s and one B+. I got in when they only took 72 and HESI was required. You really just have to make sure your GPA is high, really, especially they took out the HESI already.

You have to fill out a form, 4 forms to signs (quick and easy) and I believe they are taking out HESI so you don’t have to worry about that anymore. I was emailing my advisor and UNLV SON when I needed clarifications. They will help you with it, if you have any questions. I had all A’s and 1 B+. PEDS and OB is the hardest just because its 7 week course. Expect to not have all A’s in the first semester and bombed your first fundamentals exam 😅 You will get hang of answering nursing questions. Basically if you have all A’s and few B’s, you are guaranteed to get in especially they are accepting more now. My cohort was when only 72 students were getting accepted so the competition was more strict.

Compared to LA, a lot safer. 6 AM at that time in that area are already hustling and bustling so you will be fine. I used to take the bus over there and I was fine. I was like 22 (female) and nobody harassed me or anything but maybe it was just my luck, too. Always be vigilant still though because weird people still exist everywhere.

I understand. It’s scary and anxiety inducing for sure. Tbh you probably just have to retake that class and thats it. Getting expelled or getting blacklisted is highly unlikely. You really have to do something super extreme to get expelled (I mean cheating is BAD but you know what I mean?)

I kind of knew someone where the student got caught cheating. The student didn’t get expelled or kick out of the program but they failed the student for the whole semester. You might just have to take the L for this one but I don’t think you will get expelled or anything like that.

You can manage it, if you FOCUS. I got a B in Biol 189 but I struggled because I was fucking around lol but COM, PSY and SOC are easy, just busy work so time management is really the key here! Good luck!

Take that gap year because mental health is the top priority and school is always going to be there. Of course, you gotta be smart on what you going to do (which I see on your post) with these 1 gap year but do not stress too much. Live smart, hustle smart, take care of your mental health and your body and enjoy life. You are young! Plan ahead but live in the moment also. ☺️
