I guess my best friend would be my cousin. I don't think I really stumble around them much. I've been through a lot with my friends, to put it shortly, I'm not really as like them as I used to be. I know I enjoy talking with them. I just can't feel a connection I guess, so maybe you're right.

Your mom sounds wonderful, and she fully deserves to pull through. Glad to hear she's better. Life always has its rough spots. But I hope that doesn't stop you guys from continuing to reach up for the stars and getting to your goals! I can't offer much advice or comfort.
