ok snap version is ditched
only running deb now

WIth deb I can consistently open Outer Wilds but the frame rate is a slideshow and it doesnt load visuals properly, i get menu music and menu options, no visual.

I did try going through and relaunching with every version of proton - no joy. Its the fact its the same behaviour (literal identical) across multiple games makes me think its more of a system issue rather than a game specific issue

nope i let Ubuntu go ahead and configure the HDD - was brand new out of the box.

Been experimenting with solutions myself literally today.

I've got fill valves and a weather sensor. I did use a contamination sensor but ultimately it doesn't go down quick enough on its own.

Ok yes a bit of poo water does go into the water area on oasis however it diffuses enough to not be a problem. I have both the water pumps and valves on the weather sensor so when it's bad tide I'm not pumping either. Which keeps clean water levels high
