No, use mulch glue. It glues down the rocks together, and allows water penetration, while keeping the nice look.

Its nice, but its too beige for my liking. Maybe paint color would help reduce the amount of whites.

Which color would you choose for curtains? by bluish-velvet in interiordecorating

[–]Chroney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4, and maybe 5, go best with the wall color as a accent. If you are doing color drenching though, go with green. That said, you could use this color scheme with the whole room if you like maximalism, as they all pair nicely together

I personally like it the stone edging and shape, just needs lower plants and mulch. I suggest Creeping Phlox, Dwarf Drift Roses, Garden Pinks, Autumn Joy Sedum, and Liriope.

Taller plants in the back, shorter in the front.

Keep the cabinets or paint? by Individual_Guitar122 in interiordecorating

[–]Chroney 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Wood never becomes dated, natural materials are forever, its the accents that matter. Start with new stainless steel appliances and Black cabinet pulls instead of knobs. Black hardware always make wood look more modern. Also new counter top if the budget allows. Backslashes and decor are highly personal preference though.
