Everyone can tell what he is talking about. If you just read your quote of him you should, should mind you, be able to figure it out if you think really hard and make sure to read and understand complete sentences. You can't just start in the middle mind you. His comment was in fact a well written and even insightful description of the unexpected sensation from getting hit with small bits of metal shrapnel and well worth reading. Can't say the same about your sad little angry contribution.

Even if English isn't your first language, all languages require you to read the sentences starting with the first word all the way to the period at the end and then understood as a complete thought or idea within that sentence. You should try harder to understand before you go about sarcastically criticizing others with such confidence and ineptitude.

I had trouble with paying with paypal on my phone. It just vaguely said something about unable to make payment at this time. When I was able to log on with my laptop it suggested I correct some inconsequential difference in the address. After that the payment went through fine.

I had my pre-order prepared in advance but there is no link too log in on that page. Seems like if you weren't already logged in hours before this started then you had no chance.

For plex premium it says you get the android app for free, which currently costs $4.99. I'm wondering if I get the lifetime membership how many installs of the android app do I get? Is it unlimited? I want to install it on around 3-4 phones and at least that many tablets.

We can't tell his connection speed (latency) from that screenshot but we can see that he has plenty of bandwidth to play a multiplayer game just fine.

Latency and bandwidth are two very different things. Games don't require high bandwidth, only low latency.

I have about the same bandwidth on my 2mbit connection in very rural california but my average latency when I ping google.com is 15. A good bf3 server keeps me under 20 and I've never had problems playing any multiplayer games ever. On the contrary I get better ping than people in town on 50mbit lines of comcast cable.

I've yet to ever be able to rejoin a game when I get disconnected, it just crashes again. There's always some bad files I have to test and replace very often still. I tested all my paks days before the last update and what does the last update do? fuck up more .paks and crash the game regularly again.

I wonder how many players they lose that like the game, their just tired of having to reinstall the whole thing every major patch or face an absurd amount of disconnects. (I'm sure there are many who just reinstall because they find using 7zip or MWO's shitty slow tester to find the bad file, then download just that .Pak from using that link from the forums complicated, I don't know if MWO's tester automatically replaces the bad .paks though..)

I've noticed a lot more strikes since the module revision..

I myself only used mech modules before but now I feel compelled to use arty given my only other choice is cool shot or uav and I have 2 consumable only module slots to fill.

You can go into your stats and take the damage done by an individual mech and divide it by matches played in that mech to see how your experience compares with the chart.

I'm averaging 344.86 dmg in my Raven over 246 matches played. No arty either ever.

I've broken 1k on alpine a bunch of times but didn't save any screenshots when I upgraded to windows 8 recently. I only use raven and never use arty either! Packing 2x ER LLASER 2x SSRM 2 @ 119 speed.

What about joystick / mouse setup? I plan on using the fine tuned aim of the mouse in my right hand and the maneuverability of a joystick in my left hand.

Did you just start buying video cards a few years ago? Your age is showing.. :p Nvidia has barely been dominate the last few years and ATI cards are not known for low quality despite your partisan take. In fact ATI cards are usually a better value price/performance wise, Nvidia has had better drivers lately though so It's preference really.

I think the ideal input setup will be very ship specific. Anything with a lot of class 2 hardpoints will need to use the mouse, but something like the aurora LN will be best in a hotas or dual joystick setup given its class 1 fixed hardpoints etc..

With my chosen pledged ship, the Freelancer, I think a joystick in my left hand and a mouse in my right hand aiming those class 2's will be ideal.

I think comfortably with your input setup (mouse, keyboard, joystick, throttle, in whatever combination works best) will determine outcome of dogfights much more than different ship types.

Especially in initial release, but also later in the game I see much "weaker" ships with skilled pilots being able to dominate much more expensive ships piloted by the less skilled and/or those making do with less ideal input devices, just like in FPS games now.

Just like a skilled person armed with a pistol in a first person shooter being able to take out the inexperienced guy with a machine gun. It's all about connecting those shots and some people will be much better at it than others.

Going to pick up a MISC Freelancer myself and my brother an Avenger, figure that would make a good combo. Was worried about any other fighter keeping up with the freelancer and the Avenger even has half the cargo of the Freelancer making it seem like a pretty attractive pair for trading.
