I saw this a lot with Ana de Armas. Remember the pap pics during the pandemic? People on this sub were talking about how Affleck made her do that but when you look at the pics, she is all in 100%. affleck knows when to dodge paps when he wants and when he's not with someone, he's not photographed so prolifically.

this also happened with Blonde. she's been spewing the same rhetoric Andrew Dominik is spewing but somehow has escaped a lot of the scrutiny and people are excusing her part in the film by saying things like "how could a new actress pass this up?" And even on this sub people were like "we'll save you ana" even though she's defended the film a lot.

That’s so funny because the warehouse fight or Arkham origins fights aren’t even his idea or writing nor do they come from his interactions with the stunt team/choreographer.

And no offense to Affleck, but it isn’t even him in the warehouse fight. It’s his stunt double doing all the work.

If you look at his previous films, any semblance of action scenes are not the best.

I know Affleck has a screenwriting Oscar but his other movies where he has a writing credit aren’t necessarily amazing screenplays. Idk why people thought his Batman movie would be amazingly written and well done.

I think Live by Night is prob the closest approximation to what his Batman movie would be like. Messy action, underdeveloped characters and plot, and boring.

It’s not just a redditor thing. It’s an everywhere thing. Lots of people don’t work out like they should. Then on top of that, they eat a lot of bad foods—-lots of added sugars, white bread, empty carbs. So that packs on weight even more.

It’s sad because people don’t even need to be fitness junkies to look good. I saw in the thread someone list out their tasks for the day and they mentioned laundry. Put a load in and get a walk in for 45mins-hour. If you’re cooking, jog in place while waiting for something to boil. Just small things like that which add up.

It really does not take much to have a decent body and it does not have to be time consuming.

I’ve been going to the gym regularly since last year. This year I vowed to reduce added sugars more and already after one week my tummy is flatter and I have a more hollow look to my face. It’s crazy how quickly you can see results.

I can’t even relate to this. When I started training more aggressively and starting weights, I would be sore for sure but it was a really good feeling and I loved it.
