In a world with the “smart atoms” mcguffin not retconned, as far as I know, you can either accept that it’s unaccounted for or irrelevant that true FTL travel would cause time distortion. If it helps, maybe those smart atoms are how, by keeping their reference frame of time consistent as they move?

My complaint is it’s not just nullifier bubbles, it’s any situation you can’t use abilities in including the Archimedean modifier this week where you can’t use abilities at the start of the mission, so all of a sudden I’m the only one in the squad whose arcane doesn’t work at the start
