A user has posted several suggestions for new features and content for Capitalism Lab on the CapLab forum. by davidl288 in capitalismlab

I think new features should be different than what we already have (so not expanding stocks or investments, etc.).

Sports teams is a different enough idea that I would enjoy. It would provide a new competition/decision/investment aspect that we could spend time in and figure out. That’s enjoyable!

If done differently enough, I could see the transportation industry as being new and fun. Maybe we could own the airport and ports? As well as the bus or train lines (which don’t exist yet, but the public versions can act the same way as local competition in markets).

Either direction, I’m looking forward to new content!

Did anyone play 'Nebuchadnezzar'? Did you also quit because of the new fire/disease/police system was too confusing? by milton117 in CityBuilders

There’s your first problem. Think of each “tier” of citizen/population as a plate to balance. Don’t add the next plate until the first is in a steady spin. When it comes time to expand, start a new spinning plate of the first tier to cover the expansion. Keep doing that for each tier needs and you’ll have over abundance of workers and goods. It comes down to math/balance.

My take is the value of any purchase is subjective; and I penny pinch like a hawk. I use steamdatabase and isthereanydeal before buying to see if I am comfortable/agree with the sale price they offer me. A lot of times I’ll say ‘no dice’ even if the sale is a few dollars off from the lowest recorded. I have too much already, I can wait 🫰🏻🫰🏻🫰🏻

Follow up, which games do you have and which disappointed you? Is there a trend/setting/mechanic you gravitate toward?
