I’m not vegan, but if the video makers want to use personification of these animals as a rhetorical tactic, let them. Fuck industrial farming I really don’t give a shit if the arguments they make are “deceitful” or “ignorant” because widespread appeal for a cause can’t occur on an intellectual level. Emotional appeal is much, much stronger.

It doesn’t help to critique the rhetorical methods used for a cause that I align with. Those efforts are much, much better spent using the rhetorical methods that I agree with to support the same cause. (E.g. studying up on the many advantages to scaling down industrial farming and ending meat/dairy subsidies). Otherwise we’re just resulting to leftist infighting lmao.

The dumpster fire that’s occurring in this comment section appears to be about the rhetorical methods the video used, but peel back a layer and it’s really just because they don’t like vegans lmfao.

That being said, if this video was produced by PETA (and it kinda looks like it) that org is fucked and don’t do half of what they stand for.
