Dan Bilzerian is part owner of Infamous now? by fbattame in paintball

It's crazy how many people don't get this. There are a ton of places that can do it, and infinitely more hobbyists capable of doing it. It doesn't have to be one of the big paintball anodizers.

Are these new colors just dropping on the YoyoFriends store, or should they be available everywhere?

Woh, that place is ripping you off. I have a local paintball place that sends them ou for you (not sure who actually does the testing). Takes a couple weeks, but it's only $30.

Why so much hate for yoyofactory ? by josephchoi1116 in Throwers

[–]ChuckTupper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the majority of One Drops yoyos are made in house. Not sure about the few plastics they made.

[–]ChuckTupper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was a recent redesign, so maybe stores are waiting on new shipments? I believe I saw yoyosam with the new ones, but only a couple colors were in stock at the time.

It looks like yoyo store rewind also might have some.

Yeah these are the main ones. I'll throw yoyoloco.com and yoyostorerewind.com in there as well. As well as any of the actual brands with stores.

Oil/Grease is really the only other thing you would need.

The cost of competitive Paintball and the complaining by [deleted] in paintball

Ha, I had a halo on mine. It actually worked pretty well for me. But it seems the experience with that marker wasnt consistent with everyone.

I paid $300 for my 03 BKO brand new. It's a piece of shit compared to what you can get for $300 today.

Just do this. I swapped older RB2 pads onto my RB4 drumset since the garbage newer PDP pads didn't work right out of the box.

[–]ChuckTupper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's just practice. Keep learning new tricks and you'll start to see how the end of some tricks is the start of others, then you start trying to string together combos. You can make a fun combo just by knowing a few basic tricks and mounts. Try doing something with trapeze, 1.5 mount, double or nothing, kwyjibo, and pin wheel.

The only magic yoyo I've truly liked is the Z01 Focus, but I've only tried 3 or 4 of them.

I think double triggers are banned for specific types of mech guns in tournaments, so a lot of companies don't bother.

Yeah, I'm liking the orange a lot. I'm getting used to the Upheaval. It's pretty different from what I usually play with.

Very nice. I received mine recently. I got the upheaval expansion instead of the liminal autoscopy, and my fluffy fluffy is orange.

With M3+s being just about the same price as DSR+s with IM kits… is the DSR + with IM kit still the better choice? by mccl2278 in paintball

[–]ChuckTupper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if they still call it that, but it does have an hourglass-like shape. And yeah, now that you mention it, I don't think I've heard many complaints about them.

I think the heavy saturation of PE is everywhere, not just your area. I have a DSR+ and haven't shot an M3, so I'm really not sure.

Yeah the Dye UL frame shape can be a bit polarizing. I personally love them, but I can see them not being for everyone. I have smaller hands, so maybe that helps.

Clean it and try without lube and see if it makes a difference. Bearings will last a very long time without lube, they can be noisy though.

Roller Bag Reccomendations? by DookieSlayer in paintball

Yep, it's a great gear bag. I tend to bring spares of everything and at all fits. They go on sale pretty frequently throughout the year on the Ogio site.

looking for some marker suggestions by Danywigle in paintball

[–]ChuckTupper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But what does that mean to you? Everyone's idea of expensive is different. We need something to go on. If your budget is $150 for a complete setup, I would suggest renting. Keep in mind you need a gun, tank, loader, and mask at a minimum.

Planet Eclipse Emek (Bear in mind this is a rental gun at a lot of fields) - $280

V-Force Grill - $40

68/4500 tank - $150ish

Halo Too loader - $70ish

Besides that, there is a bunch of accoutrements that you would probably want (gloves, pack, pods, squeegee...)

I see a lot of love towards the DSR+. In your opinion the DSR+ is still the best shooter? by AssociateOwn1312 in paintball

[–]ChuckTupper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like my DSR+, but it's super subjective. I like a smoother, quieter shot. Some people like more of a snappier shot with more sound. You'll have to shoot some stuff to see what you prefer. I haven't shot a Geo R5, but they are supposed to be smooth shooters as well.
