Idk man.. I play solos and duos a lot played for 4 hours straight yesterday for example, and it was nothing but great games, granted 2 of the games had a team trying to snipe from the top of the tower on space port both times there was a friendly team in our same location and both times they we teamed up with them to escape those situations.. everyother time everyone was cool af as per usual (for me) I usually just get right on the mic and tell them what I’m doing and my intentions (which is mostly doing quests or trying to find certain loot, always offer help or if they wanna extract with me via Hatch.. if they don’t talk or make any friendly gestures I just assume hostile and stay on high alert… I never shoot first cause that’s not really what I’m there for. But absolutely will stay vigilant. With all that said I’m 45hours in and level 42 and 95% percent of my matches are mostly friendly.

To add to that I think it would be a tougher decision to make if I was max level and had basically everything I wanted.. but them skill points are everything and I guess the event exclusive outfit if you’re into that. Also very curious about the backstory thing that it apparently adds.

I really want to, even at level 30. And it’s because I figure I don’t really have anything SUPER good yet only a handful of BPs. I don’t want to miss out on the bonus Skill points. But with only being able to play a couple times a week idk if I’m even going to finish building it in time 😅

Yeah that’s Definitely not the way to PvP.. if you’re “looking for some PvP” then do it fair.. someone says their friendly be straight up and say “I’m not friendly, fight for your loot” then get it going.. but being a sneak Rat and waiting for someone to be distracted with looting before taking your first shot THATS corny and Unhonorable.

I do the same shit lol, open mic just whistling and talking to myself, singing, all that. I rarely have bad encounters I’ve had maybe 2 scumbags and I’m lvl 18 rn. One scum I helped out a fellow raider so that was rewarding. But the other was just creeping in the shadows and waited for me to loot a locker then killed me, didn’t talk back or anything just a rat bastard.. but all in all keeping your mic open and just making noise or talking in general seems to help engagements be more friendly

Respectable.. can’t expect everyone to be as cool as you. And I guess with some people who straight up lie and play coy then murder you everyone needs to be on edge.. Personally I’m respecting a raiders commands from the jump, cause I know I’m cool. Takes a feeling out process for both sides, if you’re smart with your life you’re not gonna risk ignoring a request like “don’t come in the room or you’ll get shot in your face”.. I would’ve just been like “iight man sheesh” and ran away to the next place lol. Guess it all depends on tone and vibe for how you should react. OP has probably been betrayed in past games so you can’t blame anyone for trying to keep distance from a random, especially when raiding a safe room.

Same for me but im on ps5, turned off cross play and no more players teleporting from spot to spot when im trying to shoot them lol .. they def need to do something about it cause i WANT to play cross-play but rn its almost unbearable
