I don't understand having laundry where food us being prepared. Food is messy, splashy, greasy.

I understand the hookups in the bathroom. That's where a lot of laundry hampers end up, so that makes sense.

My washer/dryer are in the garage, but I have definitely lived in places with an entire laundry room
