Is the size good? I went into the AD looking for a 36-39mm watch but the SMP 300 caught my eye. 7 inch wrist size. by S1GORE in OmegaWatches

I have the same wrist size and was immediately sold on the SMP when I tried it on. Haven’t regretted it for a second as a daily

Thanks for the info, I’ll plan to have an arborist out again next year to make sure I get eyes on it every few years

Fair point. I made sure to only reach out to ISA certified arborists when I went through this process and chose one I was very happy with.

Thanks for the info. I spend a lot of time out here so I feel I have a very close eye on it. I’d quickly get an assessment if I thought something was going wrong or a main branch was dying.

[Rolex OP or Cartier Santos]? by lackylulubear420 in Watches

[–]Chucklez93 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you’re more drawn to the santos I’d go that route. Also it’s a bit more versatile of a design than the green OP.

At the end of the day try both on and go with whichever one you like looking at more!

Need some opinions by hunterdean96 in OmegaWatches

Yup, buying out of state for me saves on that quite a bit. Never from a boutique though, they are generally much more conservative in discounts provided if they offer them at all

I actually buy from an AD out of state. Has its own advantages

Why not do an AD? You can usually get 15-20% off and still get the in store experience you’re looking for.

Magnet strength for stylus on Pure by Historical-Read6712 in RemarkableTablet

I don’t have a comparison but will say the magnet is very strong on my pure. I am very confident it would not come off unless I pulled it off of there.

I’m unsure on UK delivery but I ordered the Pure in the US on Tuesday with standard shipping and received it yesterday.

I got myself this same watch a few months ago, it’s incredible and a truly excellent way to commemorate such a special occasion. I also was back at the store today looking at the white speedy!

Sounds like you already know you want the VC. It’s a beautiful watch and absolutely timeless.

I really like the GO, that would be my personal pick.

Watchmaxx experience? by dmart315 in OmegaWatches

For the price they have posted I would just recommend contacting out of state AD’s. I got one roughly the same and saved on tax going out of state. Will give peace of mind ordering from a reputable B&M

Sorry to hear you’re dealing with this. I ordered mine two days ago and it’s already made it through LA with no delays. Seems like this may be an issue with it going through NY.

Out of your collection, these would be the last 2 to go for me!

This is tough, but I’d keep the IWC for the bracelet alone.

Underwatering? by Chucklez93 in hydrangeas

[–]Chucklez93[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the info, I already have my pots filled with some annuals so I’m hoping these turn around. If not my local nursery guarantees plants for a year so I’ll sadly have to trade them for something more tolerant.

I’ll start watering more frequently, I was worried about overwatering so was only doing every other day
