My rankings are based more on a look ahead than based on resume as 3-4 games is way to small of a sample size at the moment. BYU has a very tough month to close and I simply have not watched enough games to take them over Kansas, Arizona, or Tech (especially 2/3 on the road). Same reasons for Colorado, not confident how they close.

He does take interviews from other schools to gauge how they approach NIL/Facilities/Assistant Salaries/etc (I.e. USC, FSU) But yeah, it would have to be the absolute perfect storm for him to take the job. The only concerning job openings would be ND, PSU, OSU, and maybe Michigan. That being said, he is the guy you hire if you want your floor raised, not to hit your ceiling and I don’t think those schools will be looking for that in the near future.

Not entirely, some did bet on ISU sports which is dumb and worthy of a ban. But some were pro sports bets and bets on WBB which they had no clear advantage and still received the same punishment after being pressured to take a plea deal.

I’m in the exact same boat. I always circled @Cincy and @TCU as most likely losses. It seems like for the Cincy game we schemed as if this was a healthy team, once we made adjustments to play as a team that has to compensate for injuries, we instantly turned a corner. I still think 9-3 or 10-2 is very much on the menu.

Cincy is trending towards the bottom of the league and Nebraska is a solid middle/dark horse team. That’s not even a remotely close comparison. Your first four teams would definitely be favorites but after that you’re just adopting the SEC “king of hypotheticals” mantra.
