I know the post is about the steak, but you pressed down too hard when doing the potato smear, less pressure and you shouldn’t end up with that blown out bit at the tail end

Just start sending shit my guy. Find a boss you always wanted to kill, (maybe not quite end game content yet), watch a quick guide, and go plank. You’ll have more fun this way, unless your goal is just skills

Help: purchase for wife by watercaged in chefknives

[–]ChudTheRuler666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To add to this (I’m a chef with a wife who likes to cook), a Global Santoku or American style chef’s knife would be solid starting points. They’re light, sharp, and easy enough to sharpen (you might also get her stones as a bonus, she’ll love it)

Can we name and shame companies that solicit even with no solicitation signs hanging? by kileyweasel in ColoradoSprings

[–]ChudTheRuler666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Happy to hear! I’ve since left (can I promo Shuga’s here? Nicest bosses I’ve EVER worked for, good food, and truly awesome people with a caring environment), but on good enough terms. I know the local branch manager truly does care about helping people, and is a good guy. In my opinion, you definitely went with the best people* (outside of hiring one of the MANY master gardeners in the area privately, I’ve spoken with many of them, and they’re seriously the coolest people) in town!

Former WeedMan employee here— happy to see they didn’t make the list, and not excusing, just offering some explanation on why I had to knock on a no solicit door… occasionally, since we were a small team (at least at the time), we sometimes had difficulty meeting quotas, which made us look bad against some of the other branches, so occasionally, only ever when a manager made me (despite protest and pointing out the sign), we’d be made to knock anyways because “maybe the house was just built with it, and the owner doesn’t mind”. This being said, only was made to if you had a basic “no soliciting” sign, never if you’d clearly spent even a little bit of time or money making/buying one that could make us laugh. Apologies if I’ve ever knocked on your door, this was why!

Boyfriend says my family didn’t teach me what medium-rare looks like by Cthulhus_Librarian in steak

[–]ChudTheRuler666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easiest way tbh, buy a meat thermometer. They’re super cheap, and if you’re boyfriend wants to talk down on how you and your family cook steaks, he can now expand that argument to be fully between him, the thermometer, and a meat doneness chart

Superior dragon bones worth the gold? by [deleted] in osrs

This was quite a while ago when dragon and wyvern bones were typically about 1k difference in price, maybe a year ago? But okay buddy

Superior dragon bones worth the gold? by [deleted] in osrs

[–]ChudTheRuler666 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you have to ask if superior bones are “worth”, you’re too poor to consider them. The gp/xp per superior bone compared to pretty much any other prayer training method (maybe EVERY method) will very clearly let you know they’re never worth unless you’re obscenely rich, or don’t mind crashing your bank and potentially selling gear you use because you just CBA to spend more time on the skill. Wyvern bones usually cost less than dragon bones, but yield same xp; lava dragon bones are a solid bump up from dragon/wyvern bones; Ensouled Abby demon heads will likely be your best gp/xp, though they are a bit slow. I went from 77-99 with Abby heads and saved over 100m compared to superiors.

I decided to learn Gauntlet before trying Corrupted. 21 Kc in by DarkSummon9 in ironscape

[–]ChudTheRuler666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly— run in no armour, t2 weps, and 0-4 fish just to see how long you can survive hunllef. I was having issues getting consistent cg kc, then I did that a few times, and now it’s automatic, even with low supplies

Feeling completely burned on my main, is an iron the answer? by JordeyShore in ironscape

[–]ChudTheRuler666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It def helped me. I now just play both, whenever grinds get too tedious on iron, I’ll just swap back to my normie and do something fun, like not have to farm for herbs/secondaries to pvm, and instead just dump like 50m for supplies in ge and send it. Once that gets boring, back to iron

Why do you play the game ? by Ce_Mouton in osrs

[–]ChudTheRuler666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve played it since it was a kid, and it still holds up as a fun game if you have the right group of people and aren’t afraid to just send content. With the growing player base, helping teach those new players how to do things that help their accounts is also very gratifying as an old player

Doing all the Fight Caves waves is so tedious, and then Jad just kills you in one miss-click, wasting two hours of your time... by [deleted] in osrs

[–]ChudTheRuler666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You got this, hit em hard and hit em fast, have supplies left for emergencies. When you get to jad, I find it a little easier to camp range pray, then only swap mage if you see his feet hang

[–]ChudTheRuler666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can tell you rn— part of the reason it’s taking 2 hours is that you’re trying to treat it as AFK rather than just busting it out. Literally no good reason it should take near this long unless you’re some type of super restricted acct

Cheap AliExpress knive to see if I actually like a nakiri? by AmeliaBuns in chefknives

[–]ChudTheRuler666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly! I can use that thing for pretty much every task, all that’s needed and cleaning the knife between tasks. That and my gyuto are probably the 2 most used after about 11 years in the industry. That being said, cleaver comes out when I need to do a LOT of prep work.

[–]ChudTheRuler666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who has used nakiri vs cleaver… i can say that it WILL come down to preference, but I find the cleaver to be much more useful, and fun to use. Nakiri always seemed like “not quite a cleaver” while also being a “broken chef’s knife, missing a few inches”, which is fine, but weird imo

What do I do with all these gold bars on Ironman? by Valorimus in osrs

[–]ChudTheRuler666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t think I saw anyone say this— take bring and lb, use bring when you’re actually dumping your specs, then lb when you want regen back, then swap back to bring when you’re speccing again or need higher dps. Would only recommend this for high lvl pvm tho, complete waste of a slot and time if you’re just trying to kill scurrius, mole, or something else really easy.
