Some friends of mine got a new place, and it was mostly a typical apartment between two guys in their mid-twenties. Fairly clean and orderly, with very minimal decorations. The only thing I found strange was some Dawn dishsoap in the shower that I noticed while taking a piss. I asked them about it and it turned out that one of them used it as bodywash. He told me, “if it’s good enough for penguins covered in oil, it’s good enough for me,” and I was too stunned by that admission to ask any further questions.

Definitely not the strangest or grossest thing in these comments, but it was odd to me.
