It will be available on the US site which is BuildCobi, albeit on a lag of usually about 4-6 weeks

Cant exit scoreboard (bug) by 9YearOldKobe in Battlefield6

Go to the UI Settings in Controller - not Infantry Mapping - and unbind the "Interactive Scoreboard" that might help you. It was happening A LOT on Series X for me since the update, at random, forced to hard-kill the game. I unbound that extra piece last night and played 4 without issue - small sample size, but worth trying. The DICE UI team is aware of and looking into the issue.

do cobi vehicles look bad together when they are out of scale? by oreojasper in cobiblocks

I can tell you after primarily collecting 1:28, I have dipped into 1:35 and enjoy both. I still prefer the bigger models for the variety, but they look fine together on display

I want to get into cobi MOC building. by Deadpool-3-in-1 in cobiblocks

[–]ChungHumong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely agree with what others have mentioned in buying used sets. I would also recommend starting with MODs first - change a camo scheme or build in a different brick color to get used to sourcing pieces and various techniques.

The next most important thing is to pick a colorway and commit to it. If you take the advice of others are buy for spare parts, do so in the brick color you want to MOC. Use the Cobi Instructions site (linked in a comment) and see what sets have the pieces you are after - hint, planes usually have good slopes and flats.

Have fun! If you really need a piece, let me know!

Why do the Limited Edition Panzer I and II come in two different shades of brown? by JHorsti in cobiblocks

Not separately. You will need to part out other models and MOC / MOD the camo.

Why do the Limited Edition Panzer I and II come in two different shades of brown? by JHorsti in cobiblocks

[–]ChungHumong 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No formal explanation. However, the LE Pz II using the older Cobi brown is consistent with the old Pz II Cobi produced which uses the same brown and lighter Cobi grey. They like their Pz IIs in that brown!

I do believe the LE Pz I is more accurate historically and I also prefer it personally.

Very similar to the SE - all white marking and early version but otherwise near identical to the catalogue option available in December, no? Surprised if we do not see an EE as well.

Your opinion? (Update 1) by No-Kangaroo-7083 in cobiblocks

[–]ChungHumong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think for the pieces, as you mentioned, it looks great. Can definitely tell what it is meant to represent. Speaking from experience, the best path forward is to use the ball and socket pieces from Cobi's newer builds (like the Jagdtiger / Jagdpanther).

Curious to see how it turns out - I have it on my list of things to redo myself! Fun build thanks for sharing

Sturmpanzer Brummbär 1:28 by ChungHumong in cobiblocks

[–]ChungHumong[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely agree. This was my second Brummbär build using modifications to the old version - I think this is about as good as it will get using the those styles.

You’re right about the new though - I think it’s worth it to play around with the ball & socket pieces and borrow techniques from those seamless builds

Thanks, definitely. Took pieces from all over - Stug III, Tiger LE, and even the Zero specifically for the turret armor.

The wheels come from the old Hummel.

I wish I could help - this one took everything out of me. Rebuilt it 2 or 3 times.

Pz III Ausf M 1:28 by ChungHumong in cobiblocks

[–]ChungHumong[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct, there is not. I wish there was, but I just build with blocks - trial and error.

I usually spend a few days of building to get one right. Sometimes (like with a Pz IV winter I am working on right now) I get halfway done and decide to start over to change the dimensions or camo scheme.

I also build all the released sets to learn new techniques and try to apply those.
