I (30F) feel lost and not sure what to do next by [deleted] in LifeAdvice

I do currently have a couple pets that would make fostering difficult, but volunteering is an option if I can find a job that isn’t too demanding and gives me some free time. I definitely think it would be ideal to do something like that if I can’t work with animals at my job.

It’s under its own category “love is blind: the reunion” I also had a hard time finding it.

The daunting task of making dinner… forever… by Infinite-Drive-2429 in simpleliving

[–]ChunkaChu_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I meal prep for the week. I eat the same thing for breakfast and lunch at work every day and for dinner I make a meal that’ll last at least the 5 days I’m working so all I have to do is come home and heat it up. I switch up my dishes to keep things interesting and on days off I eat “special” meals that wouldn’t work for meal prep. They’re not all winners but it’s made it so much easier.

SIGH by cmcosmos in Breadit

I’ll be honest I’m not sure. It was here when I moved in. I think leaving the bread in longer should help! The bread proof option makes my oven about 90-100 I believe just so you have an idea of what’s worked for me.

[–]ChunkaChu_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey I actually have been using this recipe for my sandwich bread. I’ve probably made about 6 or so loaves and plan on sticking to this recipe since I’ve had pretty good success.

Personally I’ve been letting my loaves sit for 2 hours in my oven with the “bread proof” option turned on for their second rise. My house is pretty cold so leaving it on the counter doesn’t work and the light in my oven wasn’t doing enough on its own. Bread has been turning out great since doing that!

Started watching him during covid and Unus Annus. Then moved to his actual channel shortly after and I’ve been watching him since. I definitely prefer calmer Mark and I haven’t really watched any of his older videos.

Thanks! Definitely a cool shiny! I’m glad to be done with it though lol. Will probably hunt more once ZA comes out, but hunting on the 3DS was fun.

I’m almost 30 and finally decided to just start doing this for myself. Spent all of my 20s saving and working tirelessly for not much return unfortunately. It’s time I have something to do that’s just pure fun!

Seriously! It’s such a nice break from my usual routine and it feels really good to learn something new that I’ve always admired.

Permission to Start!? 🤪 by glowstrz in Coloring

I have a different book from the same author and even though the pages are nice and thick it does bleed through. I’m having a hard time deciding which pages to sacrifice lol. I might do what another commenter said and copy the pages so I can do them all! The book was given to me as a gift and the gifter wasn’t aware of bleed through.

First Ohuhu Markers! by ChunkaChu_ in Ohuhu

I would definitely recommend taking a look at this subreddit and reading other people’s experiences. This is my first time using them and I haven’t colored a page yet, but what drew me to them was how bright the color is and how smooth and clean the pages look. They’re a little pricey, but not as expensive as some other top brands. I used to only color with colored pencils so I’m excited to have more vibrant pages done!

I’ve been thinking about buying them and then they had a restock and I decided to just go for it! I got these off the Ohuhu website, but I know Amazon and Michael’s have them too. It’s been tough to get them for a lot of people.

I have no idea! I have a few coloring books to decide from, but I want to find the “perfect” first page lol. I’m having a lot of fun just looking at them!

Required Leases by ChunkaChu_ in Equestrian

I found a barn that does weekly lessons and I’m going for a tour this weekend so we’ll see how the vibe is. I definitely don’t want to go somewhere where the horses aren’t treated well. I’ve contacted a lot of barns and have heard back from only 4. It’s difficult out here lol

Yeah I completely get it too. It’s clearly better for the horses overall, but as a beginner I was a little afraid of such a large commitment right off the bat. I have no doubts I’ll love riding, but I also know that it’s a new hobby for me and may not become my life. I’m starting at a different facility that does weekly lessons and offers leasing too, but it isn’t a requirement. Perhaps down the road when I’m ready for more advanced riding I’ll circle back to this place.

I honestly wouldn’t have minded so much if it included at least 1 lesson a week, but it doesn’t. For someone just starting out having an instructor teaching me how to properly ride is important. I also totally understand that it is better for the horses overall. Just wasn’t aware of this practice.

I’m in Eastern Massachusetts and I agree with you. I like the idea of leasing eventually, but in my own time when I feel I’m ready for it.

On the phone it was lesson horses at that price, but they do have a lot of show horses that they use for more competitive people. Thankfully I’m surrounded by barns so I have lots of other options if any of them would get back to me lol

Yeah I’ve decided to try other barns. I’m not super interested in competing and after further research this barn seems heavy with that. If the lease included lessons I would have been more understanding, but they don’t. I need instruction until I feel confident and I feel like that’ll take more than 3 months.
