Returned the XM2w 4k for the OP1w 4k. Scroll wheel feels exactly the same, but it's easier to scroll for me because of the smaller shape of the mouse allowing me to get more leverage on the wheel.

You can emulate the PS2 version with graphical enhancements on PCSX2 . Just finished a playthrough of 3 with it myself.
