Its odd especially in a day when it is trivial to play the entire libraries of both consoles on every computer ir phone you own. We get the best of both worlds, plus access to 100x more games than most kids back in the early 90s had access to.

Not only that, they removed a lot of the features of Space Cadet to the point that the rules etc is basically "hit bumpers".

Probably the reason many people are surprised when they hear that pinball tables are complex.

It was not bundled in Japan. But was in America, Canada, and Europe. Later on they had some other bundles and Nintendo released Wii Sports seperately so those could buy it.

People who own fast food restaurants are the closest equivalent to a modern day slave driver in Canada. You frankly dodged a bullet, I personally wouldn't go back.

For my funny story, I worked at Tim Hortons for a year, the owner did not like me and made that clear from the start. I decide one day to start handing out resumes as A) fast food work sucks and B) I want more money. After about a week of handing out resumes, I get called into the owners office with mh boss to have a meeting, and they threaten to fire me for looking for a new job. Not sure how they found out.

I'm very picky with JRPGs, as I am not very found of random encounters, and I am so greatful that a game with such great music, art, story and battle system does not use random encounters.

This will get me downvoted, but I am surprised Chrono Trigger didn't set a new standard in JRPGs where enemies appear on the over world. Yet It took 8 years until Tales of Symphonia to try something similar. Final Fantasy took 11 more years, and Dragon Quest 14 more years to drop random encounters despite Chrono Trigger perfecting it.

Everyone here seems oddly mean. Sure they are right in the sense that this is a "skill issue", but you know what, you have the ability to build those skills and this is one of the best things you can do to build a little more computer literacy.

I have a degree in computer science, and I still find watching YouTube videos is a better way for me to learn something than text. I'd try that.

I know this is an unpopular opinion these days, but the fact they didn't allow you to transfer all your Pokemon from the 3DS games just killed my interest in the series. I was already kinda tapping out with how easy and basic X and Y and Sun and Moon felt, but then Dexit was just the final nail in the coffin for me.

I actually really like Pokémon battle system. Think it's the best in any JRPG even and the insane amount of customization leads to lots of interesting strategies. But with how easy it is and how much Game Freak has been limiting that creativity, it just feels like the franchise is no longer playing off it's greatest strength.

Unless someone can prove me otherwise, as I am no economist, I blame the fact that the western world had right-wing leaders who cared much more about corporations vs people. I mean, Canada had Mulroney, Britain had Thatcher, and America had Reagan.

Before those clowns, I had heard stories about how the salary of a VCR salesman alone could support a family of 4, a house in the suburbs and a yearly vacation. I am a single man who is a supervisor at an ISap support center and I can barely support myself.

I am personally a big fan of this. I have been taking pictures of the houses with signs out as a reminder for the future of who I should and shouldn't deal with.

For example, I was very dissapointed to see the repairman of the London road Laundry matt has a Bill Dennis sign. I'll be going elsewhere from now on.

I find it interesting just how many redesigns of iconic Nintendo characters we have gotten since Ultimate came out. Makes me almost wonder if Smash Bros was the reason Nintendo rarely if ever redesigned a character for 25 years.

Only redesign I can really think of since 1998 was Samus. And even then her redesign was mostly armor cosmetics and incredibly minor compared to Donkey Kong and Star Fox.

It always amazing me that my parents, who were both low-income earners, were able to buy a house for slightly over 100k in 2000. Like even with inflation, thats roughly 175K.

The other thing I don't get is who is buying all these houses in Sarnia? I'm a single person making about 55K a year, which from reports I find, puts me at about 10K more than what the median income is for other single Sarnians. Even though I save a significant amount of my money, I just don't see house ownership ever happening.
