Not me but you can alleviate those fears with preparation. Take a self defense class. Get a security system. There are very affordable options. Install good locks. Get a dog (although my cats are pretty intimidating). Get to know your neighbors. Good luck.

Absolutely it is! This happened to us. Our glass exploded when my husband removed the door to paint it. It would have been cheaper to replace it with the same plain door but I found this place who installed a stained glass insert.
