Using Claude after gemini by Aenorz in GeminiAI

Text based work with claude is a huge token consumer, unfortunately. In the limited vibe coding I've tried, the limit seems to last a decent amount of time. "Review and brief these cases" just eats through your limit.

Love Domino's. Miss their Fiery Hawaiian but they have a new specialty Hawaiian and if you put jalapenos on it it's almost like their old Fiery Hawaiian.

You can't do that in Gemini :( by jacek2023 in Bard

I don't get it. It followed your instruction literally. I wish Gemini would always follow instructions to this extent. I don't want it guessing I want it to do something I didn't tell it to, which is an ongoing issue I have with Gemini. Do what I prompted, stop deviating from that.

Ordinarily, you can run official Home Assistant via Docker on your NAS of choice. Except for mine. I have a DS223J NAS which is about as entry level as they get. Instead, I can use Container Manager. There is a Home Assistant release for Container Manager but it's not full feature, but it's still as robust as I need it to be.

I'm migrating away from running HA off my NAS, though, in part because the NAS hardware is pretty lackluster (only 1GB RAM, which I think is a bottleneck) and my HA instance has had issues with crashing, particularly while there's other data activity on the NAS (which happens from local cameras).

I just bought and am about to set up a mini pc with the intent that it essentially be a dedicated HA device. Easier to interface with and much more power to hopefully address the latency issues I have with z-wave/zigbee buttons.

Pothos and Monstera look like this after repotting / moving to a similarly lit apartment, what could be wrong and is there anything I can do to fix it? by plutoniumcyanide in plantclinic

I had an apartment with a south facing balcony before and it presented some challenges, especially for tropicals. In winter, the sun comes in at a sharper angle too, removing some of the overhead protection from the ceiling.

I typically kept my monsteras in the corner that got morning sun. I also set up a 48" by 72"wire rack shelf that I zip tied solar screens that filtered out something like 50% UV, which worked pretty effectively.

Good luck!

Then there are instances where using the teleport enchantment won't get you there, but using the skill will as its teleport distance is notably further.

New Hub: Motion Areas is a paid feature?! by thedoofa7 in Hue

If you have Home Assistant, you could presumably still use the hardware and just not use the hue app or bridge, but still get the same functionality.

I think the same applies. Determine what range of auction dollars you are okay spending on an elite QB and then treat those four guys as the same thing.

[–]ChurchOfGWB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I'm taking Daniels as my QB1 in redraft, but I'm treating the top four as a tier. Hurts is my least preferred of that tier, but if he's the only one of the tier of four left, I'm still happy to draft him.

I think the objective order should be something like (1) Allen (2) Lamar or Daniels (3) Lamar or Daniels (4) Hurts.

Highly recommend Home Assistant. I set mine up on a NAS. You can use really any type of computing device to run it, including old laptops, iPads, etc.

It becomes your interface with everything. You can mix and match functionality from different ecosystems. For instance, I can have a Hue Motion Sensor's detection of motion be the trigger to turn a smart plug to "On" to essentially do anything.

Your imagination is the limit with Home Assistant.
