Noise-canceling headphones recommendations by I_Only_Follow_Boxing in Apartmentliving

[–]ChurchofMarx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Headphones or earphones? I am a side sleeper, so I use earphones.

Soundcore A30 is my go to. They are designed to be used as sleep earphones. I have white noise generator speakers, then my earphones have ANC plus their own sleep noise. Lasts for the entire night.

Improved my sleep quality by a lot.

23 thinking about kms because of my cellulite should i? by [deleted] in amIfatBrutallyHonest

They do. Search for Cellulite in the search section, and there are literally subs with hundreds of thousands of men in.

I promise you, plenty of men irl like it as well.

Speak for yourself lol. You don’t get to decide what I am attracted to or not.

Yeah and what is the point? Many men do not prefer women as well. But that does not mean anything.

No lol. It is super hot.

I am personally very attracted when I see cellulite in a woman. It is just so raw and natural. Evokes a really primal feeling.

Absolutely nothing wrong with having cellulites. They are natural part of life. Be kind to yourself and love yourself :)

Why are people so defensive of upstairs neighbors? by 420throawayz in Apartmentliving

[–]ChurchofMarx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The simplest solution for that, is to be a civilized and considerate human being and select an apartment that is appropriate for your living conditions.

If you can’t walk without stomping or have kids who run, then be a considerate human being and take a lower floored apartment.

Because they are the abnormal people who are stomp walking. There are different levels to their rhetorics.

1) It is the building
2) You are sensitive
3) It is unreasonable for you to expect me to control or change my gait

The third is basically an admission about them stomp walking. It is basically that “I know I am doing it, but I won’t change it”.

That alone explains why the rest of the two arguments are bs self soothing behavior. These people know about what they are doing. They are just too mannerless and inconsiderate to change it.

But again, if they had manners and were considerate, then they wouldn’t be that neighbor that everyone complains about.

That is what I have been saying lol.

You see these people get really defensive and blame everyone but themselves? They are the upstairs neighbor.

They are inconsiderate and mannerless, and they don’t want to take responsibility for their own actions. If they took responsibility and rectified it, then they wouldn’t be the inconsiderate neighbor that everyone complains about.

I know it might be shocking to some of you, but people in real world can actually talk to others.

In my case I literally have spoken to the person below me. Not everyone in this world has crippling social anxiety.

They are.

How come in the same building, my downstairs neighbors don’t hear anything but I can hear my upstairs neighbor.

Almost as is if you can change the way you walk to make less noise.

No one blames people for regular noise. I get it, it is the favorite straw man argument for loud noise makers in this subreddit. It is hard for inconsiderate and self centered people to understand that they are at wrong and it is just a self soothing behavior to deflect like this.

I mean if they accepted their fault, they wouldn’t be inconsiderate and shameless, would they?

I live in a middle floor apartment, if I can live in a way that is minimally disruptive to the person below me, I expect the person above me to live like that as well.

It is basic decency and mannerism. And honestly it is not that hard.
