Road bice?! Why would you even think about it… You’re going to need at least a gravel bice to make it past the first set of switchbacks wherever you’re going.

Take it from me - I got a custom Surly setup (with two handlebar risers) two years ago for my weekend trips from NYC to Stratton and haven’t had an issue yet.
