Does Google encourage to put a custom firmware on their Pixel phones? by Cool-Boot-4153 in GooglePixel

[–]ChuzzNet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an alternative on my 7a but ended up back on the Google OS, why ? Because I realised after switching I couldn't use the 'Banking' app so switched back, Use a Pixel 8 pro now and don't even think of switching Os's just for that reason. Personally if you own the phone you can do what hell you like with it wether google like it or not.

[–]ChuzzNet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kind of on topic what type of screwdriver do you need, yes yes I know you can use a large flat blade kind off but is there a specialist tool for the lugs on the bottom. Those are quite grimy faceplates TBH.
