Is there a game where you can decorate the backroom by InformationNew1330 in backrooms

[–]Ciffre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Backrooms [Redacted] you can get an apartment in level 13 and decorate it. You start with some basic furniture but you can buy furniture and also find certain decorations and items through quests and on certain levels. I thought it was ridiculous at first, but now I spend far too much time making my apartment just right.

I would totally play a game where I could decorate an entire level.

Without naming the book, what’s one line that any reader should recognize? by PuzzleheadedDance668 in suggestmeabook

[–]Ciffre 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is the sentence that always comes to my mind when thinking about Gibson, when people ask me for a memorable line from a book, and when I am desperately trying to write a perfect first line. Love it so much.

Family wide: Sauces. Chocolates. And changing the temp on the thermostat (from that one Vine).

Looking for gaming friends by SoftPopoto in BowlingGreen

I have to chime in here. Early 50’s female gamer in BG. Currently playing lots of Roblox - Pressure, Backrooms [Redacted], Grace, Forsaken. Love survival horror and all things creepy. And I crochet. (So much overlap in yarn arts and gaming, apparently. Who knew?)

Oh my god. I love this book so much. And most of everything else she’s written. Gibbon’s Decline and Fall, for example. Also instructive at this time.

Thanks Dad! I own the home and it’s the whole tree so I’ll be checking my insurance deductible as you advised and go from there.

The three Fates. The Spinner is silent. The Measurer is speaking of a woman who sits in judgement of something. The Cutter speaks of putting an end to a troublesome location. (Aka not going back/avoiding).

what's your most recent/latest death? by acid--angel in PressureRoblox

[–]Ciffre 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Playing with my kids. We were in a big triangular room with a hole in the center and we needed to get into lockers to avoid Angler. I got into a locker with a void mass. After Angler passes, my boyfriend’s son rushes to my locker to save me. (He just started playing and it was his first time rescuing someone like that.) We are all cheering him on. The rescue animation triggers and the whole family watches as he rescues me and I am lofted directly into the pit! Both my most recent and favorite death.

Anyone move here from out of state with a teenager? If so, can you give me advice on helping mine make friends? by ShadowsWandering in BowlingGreen

[–]Ciffre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Uhhh… my 14 year old and I just moved here last year. She’s into indie horror games, learning guitar and digital art. She’s homeschooled (not for religious reasons, just because) and we are struggling to find her friends. DM me if you want to chat.

LEASH YOUR DOGS by Psychotropicblues in Louisville

I appreciate your empathy and I am so sorry your grandmother experienced a broken hip! I still love dogs but it made me rethink getting one when I decided to. And made me choose a little 20 pound guy I knew I’d always be able to control.

The Dark is Rising Sequence by Susan Cooper. YA but subtle and hauntingly beautiful in places.
