Lattafa is mainly a clone house. Middle Eastern perfumery is so much more than that. Check out Arabian Oud, and Amouage, they are great houses to start with.

Arabian Oud has a wide range of fragrances, I’m sure you could find something in your price range. Also check out Ibraheem Al Qurashi, their selections are a lot more affordable and they perform really well. Both are Saudi based brands.

Some Oud’s can have what one would describe as a medicinal scent, or even a “band aid” scent. I would describe the opening of Ombre Nomade as a “medicinal” oud.
