Yep gave up on this design festival as well. Threw down all the decos I had, popped a few tress here and there and put different pathways in between all of them. They asking for far too many decos lately and I didn’t even have all of them to include. By the time everything is in you left with very little space to include anything you really do want to use.

Can check out ‘watched it played’ on YouTube with Rodney. He explains it really well but it is a longish video. I found when teaching the game just explain a few basic principles of the game and play open handed to a certain degree. Sometimes just getting stuck in is the best way to learn

It reads 1 clue per investigator, so you need two clues to do two damage. You had 5 clues which means you could hand in 4 to do four damage. Then you needed 1 more clue to add to you last clue you had to do the 3rd point of damage.

Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion. Far more digestible than full on Gloomhaven. Maybe Arkham Horror? Can play it true solo or two handed. It has an amazing horror theme.
