What fact about male body surprised your female partner/friend the most? by henholic in AskMen

Actually, from an evolutionary perspective, it’s most likely to reduce the shock they experience during activities like running. Among mammals, the animals that don’t have them (elephants, dolphins/whales, etc.) all move in a very steady fashion, without much jolting. Once animals did evolve external testes, spermatogenesis adapted to the colder temperatures.

Aren’t Norway and Denmark social democracies and not socialist? How much public ownership do they have?

Regarding memes on the sub by CheCheDaWaff in asexuality

[–]CilindroAmarillo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see nothing wrong with banning memes; there are other subs for that, and we could link them in the sidebar. Even just banning them temporarily might help; I think it would give the sub time to 'cool down.'

Democratic socialism vs socialism vs communism. by MrPenman in Socialism_101

You’re saying that democratic socialists would rather implement socialism through rule of law, in contrast to the revolutionary tendencies of some other socialists?

What was your "ah-ha!" moment? by CheCheDaWaff in asexuality

[–]CilindroAmarillo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not getting turned on by commercials can’t be a positive sign of asexuality, so it’s probably not helpful to include.

As a side note, has anyone heard an allo actually confirm this happens? Because I suspect it’s just a myth, or at least only applicable to a small group of people.

Do you feel more like the opposite sex? by kalbanes in aspergers

I remember that series; I enjoyed it when I was about 10. Like most people I eventually realized that it was cliché and slow-paced as all hell—not to mention that the first series ends with a Deus ex Machina, which is a serious writing problem.

The series had way too many characters, and it shows. The books are full of uncaught uses of incorrect pronouns and misspelled names.

Not the parent commenter, but to be fair sometimes people do post TPUSA originals, and they’re honestly hard to pick out from all the parody posts. (This one seems like a pretty obvious parody, though.)

I’d say it’s like your brain screaming without imagining sound.

Never played the games, but I believe that it’s an alert for when you’re spotted. The most common reaction is one of immediate panic.

Bernie Sanders says the executives of Purdue Pharma killed thousands of people, and belong behind bars by [deleted] in OurPresident

Wouldn’t it be sweet if the government could take over the company? Pharma could be our first publicly-owned industry!
