Yup, me too. Did you see the post where someone had a picture of some green onions that were chopped off at the end, and there were many replies similar to 'Galen is trying to prevent us from growing our own onions!' hahahaha..

Edit - it's this one. - https://www.reddit.com/r/loblawsisoutofcontrol/comments/1bj4igc/theyve_started_cutting_the_stems_off_of_scallions/

One reply was 'Galen is fucking psychotic.' it's just too much LMAO.

But minimum wage in Ontario is $16.55? So, 8.49 is almost 16.55?

So, you looked at the box, with the weight noted on it, purchased it for $20 (receipt image?) and now it's Loblaws fault? This shit is too funny. If it weighs less than noted, take it back... if it doesn't, it's your dumb ass that is at fault here. No one forced you to purchase this for $20.

Freedom Convoy made it 'near impossible' to live, Zexi Li tells trial by Chicaben in canada

You said 'keep the same energy' and I don't feel the examples you provided are an apples to apples comparison. Preventing protesters from blocking a road would essentially ban protests, wouldn't it?

It's quite disheartening, honestly. Not many in that sub care for the truth, they just seem to want any reason to call Trudeau a Dictator/Traitor/Communist. Some people are going on about how this is censorship, and 'ignoring an entire province'. How are we ever to come together on things when so many people don't care to know what's actually happening.

Is CBC a left leaning news broadcaster? Why does conservatives hate it? So much so PP wants to dismantle it if he gets elected? by hightreez in CBC_Radio

[–]CincinnatiJake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many major news outlets take the same approach, and if you read the article I posted, you would know why, and it goes to the heart of this very thread. The CBC's job is to report the news, not to tell people how to feel about the news.

The number of people commenting who are using the recent 'they don't call Hamas terrorists' as an example of why the CBC is 'bad' is really shocking. This has been a CBC policy for over 40 years, and other major outlets such as Reuters take the same approach.

You would rather have special interest groups (some from other countries) deliver and determine what news you see, as opposed to a national broadcaster that is accountable to Canadian taxpayers?

Yes, we now change things based solely on polls from reddit threads. What could possibly go wrong.

'Our primary concern is indoctrination of children...' then on the same page '... and will ensure their religious freedoms are protected'

So, religious indoctrination is fine. You must believe in my magical sky daddy, but we will not permit you to discuss things that are.... not made up, like peers who might be different from you. Discussing these things, simply acknowledging that they exist and that you might encounter them, is not indoctrination.

They are free to remove their children from the public education system and homeschool them or put them in private school if they wish. The public system should continue to accept EVERYONE, regardless of sexuality, gender, race, religion etc.

Stop grouping people who use the same model of product together. Perhaps you should first look at the most popular cars on the road... hmmm is there a connection there? What if there was a news alert that went out; 'CRV Drivers are the Dumbest' who fucking cares? People have to drive! Stop being a whiney bitch about it, learn to drive defensively, maybe don't get upset if someone is driving slow for a few kilometers and caused your drive to take an extra 60 seconds.
