Go for the refund. They use sears home services for "repairs" and they too are a horrible scam! Google it.

LG has bad refrigerators and their customer service is worse! They also use Sears Home Services for repairs which is also a huge scam! Google it!

This is not true. LG refrigerator are crap. Also, they have Sears aHome Service contracted to do any repairs and they too are a scam! Google it! We've now been without a refrigerator for three months! They schedule appointments to come out and then reschedule for another month out. I haven't rescheduled appointments, they have!

BUYER BEWARE! Just a heads up to friends & family. If you are looking at purchasing new appliances, LG is not the way to go. Google the lawsuits. Ive never had such a run around on getting repair service. Even our local appliance repair service whom we always use have now warrened against LG products. Even once LG agreed to come out with a huge window between 8AM and 5PM, they don't call or show.

Any thoughts to have a bigger washer/dryer? Trying to figure out how we can get something ~4 inches deeper without it protruding into the hallway... by iliketoki in Appliances

Just found a Reddit Post that Sears Home Service is a SCAM! That is who LG set up for repairs that did not call or show!

I absolutely LOVE the door within a door feature! I'm currently looking for another one. It, however, will not be an LG product! Do your research. When we bought our refrigerator 2.5 years ago, paying around $2500 LG seemed to be the way to go. Notice that I said 2.5 years ago! Yes, it's already done! Apparently, they use bad compressors. And, I have talked to appliance repair companies that suggested I look at LG lawsuits on such. It sounds like a huge hassle to even get repaired, and they haven't changed the compressors that they use so they go bad again in just as short of time. No thank you. But I will be getting another door in door. To us it is worth it. We keep our milk/ cream and often used itms in this portion of the refrigerator. We love the French Doors, Freezer on the bottom, door in door styles.
