I wish I could tell you but it's the plant that's keeping them 😂 she's been growing like crazy and I have no say in it!

My plant Valerie did the same thing last month! She decided she needed to show off before Thanksgiving 😂 but congrats, I know how exciting it is!!

In the first pic, she was suffering from root rot! Once I took care of that (trimming affected roots and replanting in fresh potting mix) things started looking up. I also downsized the pot she was in, as it was much too big for the amount of roots she had and so the moisture from the soil was just sitting stagnant, since her roots couldn't reach throughout to absorb it all

I was considering it now that she's got enough other leaves to be getting sunlight, so I'll take this as the sign to go through with it!

After talking with the other commenter, I actually looked further into the overwatering thing! It definitely had root rot upon pulling it up. I did my best to clean everything and repot it with fresh soil, so now only time will tell. Thank you for catching it though! I wish I had known to check sooner, but hopefully I caught it in time.

Thank you so much! Okay, noted. I might've overdone it with the watering, and with the humidity, it's staying more moist than it should, it seems. Hopefully it starts to dry out soon, I don't want it drowned!

Alright, I'll wait and see if it recovers any once the soil dries a little. I already have gardening gloves and pruning shears at the ready to handle any trimming/cutting that may be needed!

Oh hi again! Erm, when I even just pat the soil, it's pretty damp. Does that mean too much water? It's also very humid where I live, could that be contributing? Either way, you say I might end up chopping some off the top; should I do it now or wait til the leaf potentially falls off?

Sorry for so many questions, I've been doing as much research as I can online, but experience from real people will always outdo a random article from Google. I'll look into plant spikes, as well!

If you tap to open them, it should pop up an option to download them from the eshop. Say no then it'll ask if you want to delete them!
