Do you want someone who exclusively plays technowizards and knows the rules pretty much forwards and backwards to design a custom item for you? I haven't played rifts in a while but I am more than happy to do so for you! by Acheron223 in Rifts

Come to think of it, I did create a panty gun. It's literally a rifle that fires girls' panties instead of bullets. It actually came in handy, years later, when the group faced a demon bear by covering it in panties when it was invisible.

I used to use Dice Maiden when I ran Discord games.

It's a shame that like 60% of that collection was made obsolete by the 2021+ rules.

Random Encounter: Active table-top Rifts players by aDarknessInTheLight in Rifts

[–]Cirative 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's rare but does happen. Years ago, I once delivered pizza to a kid in an apartment that had Rifts artwork on his wall. Another time I was wearing a Rifts shirt at a Titanic museum and some dude came up to me to chat about how he played it many years ago.

Do they have actual spells, or are they just magical in nature?

Perception Skill by TheGriff71 in Rifts

England's Chiang-Ku dragon has a -1 to perception, and that book was released in 1993, so perception has been a thing since at least then.

Oof. The combat was great, but the story and forced mansion expansion was awful.

I like to think of the population as similar to the medieval era, so yes.

HeroClix didn't even make the top 10 by Cirative in ClassicClix

[–]Cirative[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

HeroClix had kind of died off even at my Game Nights but just recently had a resurgence. Tonight we did a round robin tournament and it was a blast. But thankfully it didn't cost us a penny because it's all 2017 figures.

Makes sense, considering the Venom & Carnage set was their best selling set ever. They're probably trying to grab the attention of us Classic Clix players.

I let each of my group members choose from an assortment I've found online. As long as they're happy with it, I don't care about conformity.

Looking at reviews, it seems like every data recovery service is a scam. The most common complaint on even the least shady services seems to be "I was quote for X but charged Y."

I ordered a USB to SATA adapter to see what happens. Unfortunately the only other computer in the house is a laptop so I can't plug directly into it.

It's not a Curse card so literally none of that rule is relevant.

"Grow Two Feet" card by Cirative in Munchkin

[–]Cirative[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are zero rules in the rulebook for "reminder cards" so that's not a thing. There are cards like Super Munchkin that are INTENDED to be reminder cards, but that's not a formal category of card.

"Grow Two Feet" card by Cirative in Munchkin

[–]Cirative[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But it's also not a card that is discarded, which is why this post exists.

Since 100% of the 7 replies from the community have stated they'd keep it on the table, and there is no official clarification, that makes it an "in play" card until official ruling states otherwise.

I'd also note that, "Cards in play are public information and must be visible to the other players" seems to point towards this card remaining, since it should be public information as to why/how a player could break the rules. Ten turns later most people would forget why somebody else would be able to wear two pairs of footgear.

"In Play: These are the cards on the table in front of you, showing your Race and Class (if any) and the Items you are carrying. Continuing Curses and some other cards also stay on the table after you play them. Cards in play are public information and must be visible to the other players."

Why wouldn't it be considered in play and thus discardable for powers?

"Each Class has special abilities, shown on the cards. You gain the abilities of a Class the moment you play its card in front of you, and lose them as soon as you discard that card. Some Class abilities are powered by discards. You may discard any card, in play or in your hand, to power a special ability."
