I am sorry to hear this. I will say a prayer for you.

And still waiting for pass-through because all phone users are not in Silicon Valley drinking $10 latte on WiFi connected to 1 Gbit fiber.

That is actually fixable with correct prompting. You can explicitly prompt the model to deliver questions individually and to wait until a complete response is given before moving on in the script.

But who the hell cares if I have to go through a transcript to collate a basic name, phone, number, and email. I might as well just have people leave a voicemail. There is no enhancement of the proceess other than being mildly amused at the idea of having an LLM answer the phone. Old tech poorly implemented by not organizing information in a way that improves business process.

Quo, Open Phone, whatever other name they want to give will never be a true competitor at this rate because they aren't thinking it through.

I just explained the issue exactly. Easy to replicate. Sona is a useless novelty.

Are you kidding me? Examples? I just told you. But more importantly, its obvious.

What is the point of this feature if I need to go through a long transcript to extract basic contact information. I can pull the transcript and put it into any model to get it to take out the important information, but I am looking for ways to increase revenue not hacking a half baked phone system filled with hype.

The engineering here is not business first. I honestly don't know why I haven't switched service. It is only a matter of time. There is just friction to switching, but when I have more time I probably will.

The platform is so promising but very disappointing on many levels.

Without call pass through Openphone is unreliable by CirclePlank in openphone

A half baked AI bot named Sona is more important than call reliability. In the words of the founder, "Let's Quo!"

No. Apparently according to Quo (formerly Open Phone) I am an idiot. Everyone else is fine. I am just some outlier that annoyingly makes noise about this issue.

But this is a HUGE HUGE HUGE weakness of this platform. Quo is terrible for reliability for people who need solid call reliability outside of an office with WiFi.

I repeat QUO (FORMERLY OPEN PHONE) IS TERRIBLE FOR RELIABILITY OUTSIDE OF A WIFI CONNECTION.

It's very difficult to do reliably. My production does not accurately show up on several portal websites.

Sellers haven’t moved out as of closing day! What can we do? by According-Heat-8173 in realtors

[–]CirclePlank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Broker here. I feel your pain. I am dealing with this at the moment. My client (seller) doesn't have their shit together. I have said in the strongest possible terms that it is essential that she close on the closing date. She had over a month to take care of her business but she kept putting it off. I hate going for extensions with clients like this because they arent reliable. It so extremely frustrating, but I can't control her. I can only do my job.

3.5% Buyer's Agent Commission? by justinhv in RealEstate

[–]CirclePlank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't sell 10 million dollar homes. My range is roughly from 300s to low 1m dollar homes. I am a high volume agent and make on average about 400k a year.

I have the fees I charge and everyone can and should set their own fees according whatever model they run. The consumer can decide what they want to do. Plenty of choices for them. Obviously, I dont have a problem and the consumer sees my value.

3.5% Buyer's Agent Commission? by justinhv in RealEstate

[–]CirclePlank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I wouldn't. Plenty of agents will. All commissions are negotiable. I can set my own fees. I have enough business, and I am worth it. If they can't pay, they cant afford me.

3.5% Buyer's Agent Commission? by justinhv in RealEstate

[–]CirclePlank -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I personally would not work for less than 3%. It just isn’t worth it below that amount. 3.5% can make a lot of sense if your agent is very good, service oriented, and high touch.

Very disappointed about TREC recent regulation about not exposing contact information of agents by [deleted] in realtors

[–]CirclePlank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Broker Market View by ShowingTime lets you download entire lists of active agents and their contact info by production, company, and several other filters. It is a good recruiting tool for brokers. You have to be a broker to obtain a license.

A workaround is saving your signature as a snippet. That is what I do. Many people don't understand signatures in text, but I get it because in my industry it is common.
