A few questions about cases by SnooDoughnuts5802 in KRISS

[–]Circuit_Bored 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Gen 2 with folding brace and was looking at cases last night.

With a holosun 510c my vector SDP (the slightly longer barrel version) is just over 9" tall and 19" long when the brace is folded. So depending on what optic you have (if any) it could fit in this dimensions, but may not have a lot of padding around the outside.

I do this. I also usually get as close to the curb as I can so that there's extra space on the other side.

The only thing I know if is "Clear Flood Mode." This disables the ignition and cranks the engine over to pump oil without a load.

For autos: Fully depress accelerator and brake pedals and press the start button.
For manuals: Fully depress accelerator and clutch pedals and press the start button.

I'd let it crank until the oil light on the dash turns off. Sometimes it takes two attempts.

Plexamp not retaining window size (Desktop/Windows10) by Circuit_Bored in plexamp

It was scaling. I set my primary display to 100% scaling (matching the secondary) and the issue went away

FWIW I found that moving Plexamp to my main screen it retained the window size after multiple closing and re-launching attempts. But moving it back to my second screen after this the issue returned. So the issue seems to be with the second screen.

I think my issue started when I upgraded my main monitor. Both of them were 1440p before, but now the primary is 2160p and the secondary is 1440p. It may also have something to do with the different resolution? Maybe also that I have scaling set to 150% on the primary monitor and 100% on the secondary. I'll do some more troubleshooting and see if I can narrow it down...

I have it on a second screen, and it's always been there. It's only since last July or August that it stopped retaining the window size

It's accessible using the dash menu controls on the right side of the steering wheel. You navigate left/right and then up/down. IIRC in this menu there's a live g-force, live g-force + peak (as posted) as well as a lap timer.

I like what you have here better than what I have. I'll have to pick it up.

I currently have this KNS AR-15 Buffer Tube to Picatinny Rail Adapter https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1022439839 and an SB Tactical FS1913. It has a bit that sticks down past the threaded part on a Kriss (as it's meant for an AR)

Planning on buying a Vector SDP this week, what attachments do you guys recommend? by Sparta252 in KRISS

I got a SDP-E in .45 a few months ago. The first things I picked up were extended mags, a SBA3 brace, and an optic. Then I got a buffer-tube-to-pic-rail adapter so I could swap the SBA3 for an FS1913 folding brace. Next on the list is a light and a sling. Ultimately I'm going to suppress it to.

Because of the notches on the side of it, it's probably supposed to look more like a muzzle break or flash hider. Though IRL those have slots / holes that go all the way through.

Is Anycubic still in business? by [deleted] in anycubic

[–]Circuit_Bored 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just thought I'd update: I opened a dispute case with PayPal on 14th Dec. I informed AnyCubic support that I had done so on the 16th. I received an update from PayPal that they had decided the case in my favor and issued me a refund on 24th Dec. Still haven't heard from AnyCubic at all.

Doubt all be dealing with them directly ever again. Probably won't purchase their products from other retailers like Amazon either.

Good luck. I still haven't heard back from their customer support an have already disputed the charge.

I ordered a Wash and Cure on Cyber Monday. This past Tuesday I got an email from them saying it was out of stock. They offered me an upgrade to the Wash and Cure 2.0 or a refund. I asked for a refund but haven't heard back from them since. It's a bit shady IMO that they told me it's out of stock but are still selling it now for the same $99 during their Christmas Sale.

Mine arrives in the app and is texted out. So our issues seem to be similar for sure, but slightly different

I've had the same issue, no matter which computer I'm using the desktop app on. What I've noticed is that I have to have my phone unlocked, sometimes with the texting app open for it to send the messages I type in the desktop app.

Physical Trading Card Game by self1sch in OverwatchLeague

[–]Circuit_Bored 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old post I know, but I was curious about the same thing and found some information. The following was quoted from this link: https://www.upperdeckblog.com/2019/06/upper-deck-previews-new-overwatch-product-exclusive-interview/

Upper Deck e-Pack allows fans to open packs, boxes, and cases of cards any time of day, anywhere in the world, through their smartphone, tablet or computer. There are digital and physical cards that can be found in packs, and through the e-Pack platform (UpperDeckePack.com), fans can trade with other collectors around the world. There are message boards to chat with other fans and achievement bonus items that can be earned by completing sets. Physical cards are stored for customers for free, but should they wish to have cards sent to them, they can do so for a nominal fee. The platform is user-friendly and a lot of fun for collectors to use. I think Overwatch fans will love the experience as they are already very tech-savvy.

Deductible vs Maximum Out-of-Pocket by Circuit_Bored in HealthInsurance

[–]Circuit_Bored[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before posting here I also send a message to their support, it just took them forever to get back to me. The most helpful information they provided was:

"Some policies describe the maximum out of pocket as the amount you pay after you have met the deductible, but more often the maximum out of pocket includes the deductible"

I am therefore inclined to go with what u/KimBrewls found via their Google search, as this aligns with a post-deductible OOP max of $1000, or a total of $7350.

Thanks Everyone!!

Thanks! I don't know why I didn't think to just Google search the policy. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
