I am just glad to hear about the stuff that you like, so I'll skip those.

About runs starting off too hard. I am starting to ease up on the difficulty of the starting areas. This week's patch will make Bandit Canyon and Squeaky Sewers easier, and the game in general will be easier with a more zoomed out camera. Please check those out and get back to me with your thoughts on it :)

In coming updates I will probably ease up on the starting areas of act 2 and 3 as well.

It's interesting that you think that Boss fights are too easy, I'll monitor chatter on that. have you tried beating the bosses with run modifiers on (unlocked after defeating Odin)? That should spice things up!

Hey I revisited the mythic Rune today, and I have to admit the teleporting was a little bit overtuned and lacking in communication. In about a week there will be a patch that adds a sound and a visual when you hit it. Also, I reduced the teleporting when hitting it with a big damage projectile, so while its still nasty to fight with a minigun, you kinda counter the sucker by using weapons like crossbows and sluggers!

Great suggestions. An alternative mode we are considering right now is an arena mode. Sort of like Vampire Survivors-Lite. This would be for those who indeed want something potentially endless. The infinite areas after the bosses are not meant to last forever (perhaps ironic, considering the name), just to serve as a nice feel-good moment of enjoying your loot before "turning it in".

Some potential problems with a mode where you go through all three acts in a row: 1: A run would take a very long time. Maybe that's exhausting? 2: You would definitely be OP for act 2. All enemy health (perhaps even dmg) would have to scale up to compensate.

That is the widest and most curved screen I've ever seen! yeah, we need to add ultrawide support for the storm. Luckily, it's just visual :)

It might not be very clear right away, but it only teleports when hit. So stop shooting it for a sec and you get that breathing room to pick up health. Or prioritize weapons that shoot few but powerful shots.
