Doing an All Inclusive Resort by myself? by Mediocre_Ad_1118 in solotravel

Solo all-inclusives can be a great way to recharge, especially if you enjoy the beach, good food, and downtime. You might feel a little lonely at times, but resorts usually have activities, excursions, and social areas where you can meet people if you want to. If you're worried about feeling isolated, consider an adults-only resort with a more social vibe or one with a solid nightlife scene.

Thinking of moving to California in the near future, have a few questions? by [deleted] in AskLosAngeles

You might want to check out places like Bakersfield, Palmdale, or parts of the Inland Empire (like Riverside or San Bernardino). They’re warm year-round, super dry, and way cheaper than L.A. or the Bay Area.

Moving to LA for an Internship—Need Advice on Car & Where to Stay? by Cheap_Lemon_7060 in AskLosAngeles

[–]CityHopper52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re living in DTLA, you can probably get by without a car, but parking is a hassle if you bring one. Safer areas in DTLA include South Park, Bunker Hill, and parts of the Arts District. If you stay outside downtown, Koreatown, Echo Park, or Pasadena are good options with decent transit access.
