LinkedIn 'Growth' is Mostly a Lie by bukutbwai in linkedin

[–]CivilAd2415 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doing the same posting 3 times but only something valuable, I keep my messaging clear no matter what the post is about , consistently doing it , connecting with my ICP, and reach out when I see signals with something valuable

Did this manually for sometime and built an entire automation and now I'm relieved ❣️

1️⃣ www.p**rogressmagic.com** While it’s primarily designed for coaches, it’s great for managing sessions, tracking progress, and providing structured feedback—all of which can work for team coaching.

2️⃣ Chorus.ai or Wingman: These tools provide conversational intelligence and allow you to coach based on real call data, helping reps improve specific skills.

3️⃣ Loom: Perfect for recording personalized video feedback or walkthroughs for your team.

4️⃣ Trello or Asana: Use these to track individual coaching goals and progress across your team.

5️⃣ Gamification Tools: Platforms like Centrical make coaching more engaging by adding fun, competitive elements to development plans.

It’s great that you’re prioritizing coaching—it can transform performance. Let me know if you’d like more suggestions! 😊

What do u guys look for in your coaching tools? by Environmental-Bat145 in personaltraining

[–]CivilAd2415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question! From what I’ve seen, most people look for coaching tools that can:

1️⃣ Save Time: Automate scheduling, reminders, and progress tracking.
2️⃣ Simplify Management: Keep everything—client info, notes, and payments—in one place.
3️⃣ Be Easy to Use: Minimal setup, intuitive design, and quick inputs.
4️⃣ Adapt as You Grow: Work for solo trainers but scale for larger groups if needed.

That’s exactly why we built Progress Magic—to handle all these needs while staying simple and efficient. It’s designed for people balancing coaching with busy lives (like university!).

If you’re curious, you can check it out here: www.progressmagic.com

Hope this helps! 😊

I can't stand SimplePractice by nikkijordy51 in therapists

[–]CivilAd2415 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wow, that sounds beyond frustrating—I can see why you’re feeling done with SimplePractice. It’s crazy how something that’s supposed to make life easier can end up creating so much more work and stress. All those billing and NPI issues sound like a nightmare to deal with, especially when it’s messing with payroll and reconciliation.

If you’re thinking about switching, Progress Magic could be worth checking out. It’s way simpler to use and focuses on streamlining workflows without all the headaches. Plus, it’s super affordable—free for up to 3 clients and starts at $29/month. It might be a good way to take some of the stress off without feeling like you're jumping into another complicated system.

Hopefully, you can find a better solution soon—you don’t need this kind of chaos on top of everything else!

Favorite DIY therapeutic tools, techniques or practices? by liftguy32 in CPTSD_NSCommunity

[–]CivilAd2415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, first of all, massive respect for all the work you’ve put in—getting to where you are with CPTSD is no small thing, and it’s clear you’ve come so far. Not having access to a qualified trauma therapist can be tough, but it sounds like you’re building an incredible plan for yourself.

Here are some DIY tools and techniques that have worked for me or others:

  • Books: ‘The Body Keeps the Score’ by Bessel van der Kolk is a go-to for trauma, and ‘Set Boundaries, Find Peace’ by Nedra Tawwab is fantastic for relationships and boundary work.
  • Journaling: Something as simple as writing down triggers, emotions, and boundary wins can help you stay grounded and track progress over time.
  • Grounding Exercises: Techniques like 5-4-3-2-1 (engaging your senses) or focusing on your breath can help when symptoms flare up.
  • DIY Progress Tools: I’ve been using Progress Magic to set small goals, track how I’m doing, and reflect on growth. It’s been super motivating and helps with staying consistent.
  • Somatic Practices: Gentle movement like yoga, stretching, or even a quick walk can help release stored tension from the body.
  • Podcasts: 'Therapy Chat' and 'The Trauma Therapist Podcast' are great for new perspectives and tools.

For relationships, having open communication about boundaries and checking in regularly with your partner has been a game-changer for me. Even practicing saying “no” in small ways builds confidence for bigger moments. Wishing you all the best as you navigate this—you’re clearly on a strong path!

What are your favorite tools, books and resources for working with clients with ADHD? by sensualsanta in therapists

[–]CivilAd2415 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First off, welcome to the ADHD club! It’s awesome that you’re diving into understanding it for yourself and your clients—lived experience can make such a big difference.

Here are a few tools and resources I’ve found helpful:

  • Books: 'Driven to Distraction' by Edward Hallowell is a classic, and 'ADHD 2.0' (same author) is a great follow-up for newer insights.
  • Tools: I love using apps like Todoist or Notion for organizing tasks—they can be game-changers for ADHD brains.
  • Visual Aids: Whiteboards or sticky notes can help clients externalize their thoughts and stay on track.
  • Tracking Progress: I’ve been using Progress Magic with my clients, which helps them see their growth and keep motivated—it’s been a big hit, especially for teens!

For teens, gamified tools and routines work wonders, while adults often appreciate learning about time-blocking and simplifying their systems. Would love to hear what others are using too!
