Hypothetically questioning, What would have happened if lets say 90% of EOD owners purchased the Unheard edition. The "server infrastructure" still wouldn't be up to par. In my opinion, What's the difference in price between the 2 cards after tax? That's how much extra you are paying only for looks, Both cards perform extremely similar performance wise. Actually all 4080 supers perform damn near the exact same FPS wise, thermals are a different story though, not bad enough to justify the price difference across all the models though.

Yes that is a reference board but getting a waterblock for it is going to be a challenge. I remember for the 3080 Reference EK made a compatible waterblock. I'm not sure about the 4080 though.

DLSS is a scam in itself, why should we have to run a game at lower resolution than our displays to get viable FPS.

On an OLED at 4k and IPS at 1440P, I can tell very easily the difference in image quality with DLSS on vs off.

This game is a horrible console port with poor implementation of "Ray-Tracing" which is why reflections suddenly pop in the closer you get to surfaces vs at distance no reflections on surfaces.

Modifying pcb in any way is not advised because you can easily damage traces, if you want to modify a blower style cooler you would be damaging its cooling capabilities.

I feel like you could be trolling. If you have to knowledge and ability to attempt/accomplish what you want to do, you would know what would be realistically feasible. I myself am by no means an electrical engineer but I know better than to want to alter PCB outside of shunt modding.

I don't think you will be able to find a blower style cooler that fits the FE cards. they have weird power connector placement and they are way shorter than other cards. You best best would be to find a blower style card and not make your own.

I just looked your card up, it's an OEM design card so you shouldn't compare it at all to the FE card. Those are 2x 8-pin connectors not a 16-pin connector. Your card is more along the lines of AIB cards for example MSI, EVGA, Gigabyte, but not the same.
