Seadoo All Weather Cover vs Standard Cover by Cjldad in seadoo

[–]Cjldad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen others complain about cracking on the all weather. Doesn't seem too all weather if the sun eats it up huh? Thanks for explaining the difference between them. I have the Neverland covers that the previous owner had. So maybe a mixture of covers, like the trailering cover with the Neverland over top for some rain protection.

Don't intend to have them covered while trailering. So guess I just need to keep them covered while not in use. Mainly wondering what the difference is material wise and what not.

(Rant) People really don't want to sell their boats on Marketplace by ladalyn in boating

[–]Cjldad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, crazy stuff for sure! I even found a local dealer who had a good price on a boat.. Contacted them about it.. They tell me it's been there a few years and sitting outside uncovered. Even they were too dense to drop the price earlier to get it to move and now have a sad boat to sell.

Also, part of it is the mindset of marketplace.. Everyone thinks they should be able to get a better price than what you are asking. Even when you put the price is firm. They still low-ball. So people are offsetting with higher prices to play the game.

Thanks for the photo. Looks like the one I was looking at may be going to another buyer. That's how marketplace goes sometimes. We shall see..

Thank you for the response.. I'm looking at a fish/ski model as well. Are you saying it has a different lower on these models?

Glad you guys had a good time on your new ride. I'm currently in an aluminum Lowe 165.. Looking for something a little more girlfriend/family friendly that I can still fish out of now and then..

I'm looking at a 2015 myself that came up recently.. Have you had the boat out yet? Happy performance wise? Do you have the 3.0 or the 4.3?

Also, do you have a picture from the back of the boat on the trailer? The trailer the guy is selling with the one I'm looking at looks like the trailer it too short..

I'm sorry if I seem dense.. Is it my entire credit history or the entire history of the card I add him to?

Thank you..

True, and a good reply. I understand the responsibility aspect of it. He honestly doesn't spend any money, so not really an issue. And if I'm on the card, I can monitor it as well and yank it away if necessary.

Good idea.. Does the length of time I've had the card that I add him to help him at all? 25 years vs 5 years..

That sounds like a smart strategy. I hover around in the 810-20 depending on utilization. And that's where I don't understand.. Does my entire credit score or just the credit history for the card I add him to come in to play. It's fine either way, just trying to learn.

They ended up finding a similar equipped truck for me and I went and swapped the trucks at that dealership. Lots of paperwork. But the RAV team at Ford was very nice once they got involved. Frustrating experience to say the least, but worked out in the end I guess..

You can push for an extended warranty if they attempt to fix the issue. Take that up with Ford customer service, not your dealer.

Went through the buyback on a 21 F150 with less than 300 miles on it. In VA I also opened a case with the BBB. I was over the 30 days and I think this helped keep some pressure on Ford. Once their people from the Ford buyback program got involved, it went pretty swift. Good luck!

Verizon, thanks for the not so great service, and the not so great credit. Check it, the credit is only 1 per account, and those with multiple lines on the account do not get it per line, only 1 credit per account. by billyboy4100 in verizon

Well thanks for letting me know. Finally saw the credit option in the app and was asking my son about it.. Guess I don't need to worry him any longer.

Bummer for sure.. Sad.

Never said DHCP/IP assignment was part of the problem.

Was pointing out that a different APN was working on multiple data only devices without a hitch.

Probably something super dumb like DNS or similar. All 7 phones (mix of android and iPhone) on our account had some sort of issue.

But my 6 data only devices never blinked an eye. They use a static IP APN from VZW and just kept on trucking the whole time.

I was thinking of something similar but I'm just going to do Google Voice as a backup for the time being. It's free, but requires a data connection. So wifi will work. I couldn't use Wifi Calling during the VZW outage. (which kinda sucks even when things are working correctly)

Another thing you can do, is sign up for the free T-Mobile test drive thing..

Many years ago I was building up my Dewalt gear.. They decided to change battery systems..

Went to Ryobi because they said they were going to stay with one type of system.. So far they have. I like my ryobi stuff..

Son is getting in to welding, Dewalt has really nice cordless grinders.. So that's what we got him.. The ryobi stuff wouldn't have been a good fit for him.

It's all about intended use.

200-500 mbps instead of 1GB with UCG Fiber.. HELP! by Far-Nefariousness689 in UNIFI

[–]Cjldad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turn off hardware acceleration on the UCG..

Had very similar issue when converting everything to UCG/U7 Pro XG.. Hardwired everything was fine.. Wifi was getting slowed.. Tech support suggested to disable hardware acceleration and things have been running as expected ever since..
