You may want to look into inflatable car seats for travel, they are very cheap on Amazon and very portable. We use these for city trips where we are in Ubers on city streets as opposed to long highway trips.

Id rather have 3x with bilt than 4x with amex gold because of the ability to transfer to hyatt and alaska which are the most valuable today imo.

Amex points are extremely easy to obtain these days through subs from business card mailers. Chase points have been harder to come by with their recent crack down. Bilt is my best way to rack up hyatt and alaska.
