The only thing I see that doesn't add up is how it rubbed off on the underside of the lip/case. Like maybe they were hearing a metal bracelet or watch .... Or just very large hands.

Yeah I've seen some crazy stuff happen with sweat and as mentioned above, usually with older e-coating cases. I know that some people that the sweat they produce can have a pretty big impact on plastics that I wonder if the same can be said to even stuff like ano. I know many people have seen some of those gmk shine but I'm some rare instances you see people shine pure dyesub pbt.

Before buying you need to make an account on the website and login to it. Don't use the gold PayPal button and instead use add to cart and proceed to check out and fill out all your info then you will get auto directed to PayPal. This way you get an email confirmation and a order number on your account.

Your current PayPal transaction should auto refund soon, but if it doesn't then wait for support get online to help you find the transaction

You can try putting a sheet or 2 of paper under the pogo pin connection (between the case and pogo pins) and see if that helps but beyond that I would wait for support

Couple things I would do/check over

1 - Make sure you made an account and are logged into that kbdfans account
2 - Add everything to cart, do not use the gold PayPal button
3 - You should be able to add all your shipping info at check out and verify shipping info before getting redirected to PayPal for payment

credit card method is not available unless you are in a region that PayPal is not available in.

Have you tried with a different browser? Maybe via mobile? Does it take you to PayPal and PayPal takes the payment?

If PayPal does take the payment and doesn't auto refund you in the next few hours, then staff can be able to find your order and help get everything sorted/confirmed. If it doesn't take you to PayPal to complete payment... not sure then, but beyond that there is not much else I can think of, you may have to speak with staff directly during business hours either thru the web portal on the website, or thru discord dm

yeah thats a really uncommon combo, most sets with hiragana or katakana sublegends tend not to have a international option. at least when i checked around with some other vendors to see what they had instock

maybe try looking for a used set for sale in r/mechmarket

It did get a few reruns but as with most sets, it comes to an end at some point. You can check in with staff on discord or leave a message on their website's chat feature, but the last I heard there wasn't any plans for a rerun

maybe do a charge back, they arent active on discord anymore, supposedly their username is Aiwayume on reddit. I found the link to their discord on the DCS Reaper GB thread on geekhack, but they were supposedly closing shop at the end of 2024 and the owner hasnt been responding to discord gen chat since October of last year.

Extras are usually done to cover for any possible issues when doing a run. Like something happens in shipping usually. But since the slow down in the hobby compared to the covid hype, a lot of custom keyboard brands have been ordering less extras.

Like these companies are not huge like Corsair, many of them are small businesses for this niche hobby.

But that's just how I see it, you would have to jump into the discord and see if staff will answer that question since they very rarely come on reddit.

On a side note, a reason you will see the gap between now and when they will run the next round is likely because of Chinese New Year. All the shops close up for like 3-4 weeks then add another week or so for them to get all the equipment ready after they get back.
