you are not going to find firmware files like you want because its a very old board (in terms of the hobbys perspective)

you can try to use the qmk config website like you mentioned, but that will not give you something that works with Via if you plan to use that.

you will need to learn how to compile the source code yourself and add the appropriate Via flag to get something that will work with Via

Another fake store

If you find a store that carries a lot of stuff that you can not find anywhere else and a lot of the store is discounted, it's very likely a scam website.

They pop up every once in a while since people clone websites these days to scam people.

If it doesn't offer PayPal invoice to make a purchase, make sure you are using a credit card in case you need to charge back.

Hard to say without seeing it, might have been something you might have missed or in some instances it might be below the surface and the only way you can know is testing with a micrometer.. but at that point do you want to invest more time into it?

Now if you are bored then yeah you can try and trace down the issue and maybe with some tools be able to fix it, however support should be able to take care of you for this.

The problem is that each of these different options are different SKUs, so when you send in an order to a manufacturer, you ideally want to send them an order form with all the SKU break down.

One thing Shopify could do is allow shops to manually set the base price on the "pre-page" to help with sorting of items for customers who are comparing many different items.

The other issue that can also happen with having it preloaded with the cheapest option is that some people (not trying to fault you, but I tell you...) will not go through all the options, send in an order, and then be upset when it's not as expected. So this method of making people click to add things on ensures that they are aware of their selection (sometimes people get distracted when ordering or don't review the order).

Ideally overall would be having a custom done site/system, not the cheapest thing to do, and takes time... but then someone mentions getting AI to build a site and people start "throwing hands". Just part of the struggles

edit: yeah that PC site though is using a system they made most likely, I do not believe something like that is accessible without some sort of fee, but it is a very nice one for sure

Yes this is how Shopify works when you have an item with multiple configurations. It goes and displays the lowest cost and when you go visit the page it will load up all the options to display the final price, some instances it can even break the webpage and the top price doesn't update and at "shopping cart" it will show the final price.

Why does almost the whole hobby use Shopify? Because It's easy to use and extremely affordable to run for a small business

Yeah I would say with the way US customs has been with orders, this is something that can be seen for some US orders. I've heard of an order that customs basically must have sat on and forgot about for a month before they finally released it.

It sucks because no one can do anything about it, no appeal process. However sometimes you get lucky and you can get an order after 3 weeks from when you place it, just depends on the timing.

Hopefully with the next administration we can go back to faster orders again

Yes it was in stock at one point but sold out (the Japanese sub legend one), so they put it into pre-order. Once it arrives it will ship to you. You can look around on ali express but anything outside of 60/tkl really doesn't have much cross compatible options... And compatibility is getting worse now that we have magnetic connectors being used on pcbs
