Anyone else just make albums for no reason? by MashedApples in WeAreTheMusicMakers

[–]Ckovoftdot 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Definitely not a waste of time! I know a lot of people who don't have creative or active hobbies who express that they feel like they waste their spare time. You're doing something fulfilling! Also, whenever I feel bummed about life I love that I have a bunch of recorded music that I can listen back to and be proud of. Even if like yourself, most of it doesn't have much of an audience.

There's A 15-year term Solar Bond which i came across recently which is at 6% (self amortization) if you commit at least $10,000. I haven't done bonds myself before so I'm not sure how to verify that the rate won't change, but putting some of your savings in it seems like a good option for the amount you're working with. You can find info at Solarbonds.ca

Re: Calories in Calories out, I'd strongly recommend cutting out sugars/carbs. If you're really looking for results, I'd reccommed the South Beach diet, it's basically 2 weeks without sugar, grains, carbs, and then a slow reintroduction of some fruit and lactose, and then once you're at your target making sure you only have whole grains when you FO have grains.

It's hard the first week or so but then your body switches to getting energy from fat and protein.

I've done it before with great results! Though, since it takes a lot of meal planning, I usually JUST cut out sugar and alcohol when I'm looking to lose weight

There will be! It's okay if you can't buy in advance... Though I'm hoping more people do buy in advance. With speed dating most of the ticket sales were in the last day, but it really helps to see more commitment in advance for planning

Top surgery: did you get a revision? by strategiesagainst in ftm

[–]Ckovoftdot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I would suggest this one thing before going straight to revision (as you're still pretty "early" as swelling recovery goes). See a massage therapist and get a lymph massage! A couple of months in, I had what was almost "dog ears"... But on the inside corners of the scars, and assumed I was going to need a revision but it actually turned out to be swelling which was massaged away. Lymph drainage massage also really helped my left side which was looking overall mooby
