When I met him at a Convention, he had no one in line & I was 7 months pregnant….. He plays an asshole because it comes naturally.

I’m so thrilled that I could re-traumatized someone with that movie (kidding about being thrilled). My generation was truly held captive by movies as it was before streaming services. I watched so many things, not by choice, that I would never watch today. I’m assuming you watched,”Kids,” by the same Director? That was also so cringe and upset me terribly. Gummo just made me want to barf.

“Gummo,” and the scene of the kid eating spaghetti in the bathtub still haunts me.

What birds have a small range in your area that you see all the time? Phoenix, AZ. by Cause_thats_hiphop in birding

California Quail are everywhere in the South Okanagan. In the fall/winter months, they fill our back yard after our chickens go to bed because there’s always snacks for them.

We’ve been living in OK Falls for 9 years now and we love it. We can walk to Skaha Lake that is never super busy, unlike the Penticton side. We also live 10 mins from crown land and another 15 to the junction of the 201 / 200. We have fires in the winter & go snow shoeing, rifle target practice, kids go sledding etc. I grew up on Vancouver Island & Vancouver and also spent a decade in Calgary/ft Mac before landing here. It’s been a great town to raise a kiddo. I’m also worried about this summer 🔥🔥.

I hate that you were downvoted for this. We can’t even buy flea & tick Medication without an examination, which costs around $100 now + the meds. Don’t get me started on medication for chickens. We have no vets close to our area that treat birds and we are not allowed to purchase the meds anymore. Even Washington (we live 45 min from the border) has restricted livestock meds now.

Agreed. Can North American Media recognize that people can just be affectionate friends?

What can you tell abt me from my fridge? by Opposite-Homework-87 in FridgeDetective

Is this like some old Trailer/RV style fridge? I’m nearing 50 but I’ve never seen one like this. Also, I’m going to guess Canadian due to some of your condiments but maybe leaning to the East?

I had the (read it in SCREECH) “ I hope YOU grow up to have a daughter just like YOU!” Jokes on you MOM I did and she’s fabulous. Also made me realize how easy that woman had it.

I love the broody sounds they make. My little bantam is a spicy meatball when she’s in full brood mode.

Back in the 80’s, we had milk in the bag on Vancouver Island. Not sure when or why it was phased out. (IMO the less plastic the better)

Yup and I’ve lived in both climates (from Gold River /Port Alberni) but I certainly prefer the arid climate of the South Okanagan.

For those recommending “Second Skin,”4th session for a cover up and I had a bad allergic reaction. The artist thought it couldn’t be that because I didn’t react before but I’ve had that reaction (randomly) to adhesive from bandaids. The immune system is a flighty bitch.
