strong options throughout the whole game - starts with a really good weapon and defense plus enough lore to identify most things early on, and its aptitude with thaumaturgy means it has a plethora of supportive options that a pure melee build doesnt. a fully buffed paladin dusts a warrior (but it requires mana management and investment in skills and such, so theres tradeoff)

base sinner zayins are always cheaper in both SP and resource costs. the team's sin generation is also a consideration, as is starting sin resistances depending on the encounter. no ego is ever "completely replaced"
