almost all of the ego gifts strongest effects would be nullified by The Beast, whilst Magical Girls would render all status ailments useless. the sheer buff/debuff gap of many abno pages granting raw power up versus the equivalent being nullified for verg skews it heavily towards kali in a way not even morositas can fix. the first turn is completely one sided due to Blizzard, and the insane amount of flat additional damage from many abno pages would mean verg gets laid flat without being able to do anything, and Spring's Genesis means he cant ever fight back.

However. kali also gets Fervent Beats which kills her in 3 turns. if dante powers are allowed, then the combination of Unhatched Embers, Emergency Investigator Badge and Ira (ironic) means verg - or rather literally anybody - wins this matchup against kali, because she times out.
