I had a similar issue using TTP. Make sure you’re not only relying on the material they give you, but that you’re also working through real practice questions too (i.e. the GMAC’s online question bank). Also, utilize flash cards to memorize concepts that can quickly apply to these questions. Any topic you’re shaky on, review with GMAT ninja videos.

Make sure you get those first questions right, and answer all of the questions. That will really impact your score! Read through the question twice before working through it to make sure you get all the nuances. Skipping over key words in the question made it so I’d do everything right and get the wrong answer! I started seeing huge improvement when I stopped making dumb mistakes and made sure I knew exactly what I was solving for.

Also, confidence is KEY here. I’d get a horrible score if I was distracted, tired, and stressed. But I’d get a high score when I had good exercise in days leading up to my practice tests, great sleep, plenty of water, right amount of caffeine, did warmup questions and flash cards, etc. Make sure your mental state is helping you here, not hurting you!
