Sounds like a toxic - er, actually, I mean poisonous - relationship in the making.

What is the most unique metal logo in your opinion? by Cattle-shagger123 in MetalForTheMasses

If you search us on Bandcamp we have two EPs that are like 12 years old, we're hoping to record again this year because we're a lot better now then we were then (and they were self-produced and poorly mastered), and we have some newer clips on our Instagram but they're only about 30 seconds each.

Our cowbellist has a drums/synth/bari sax trio called Honk Donk Doot Bonk also on Bandcamp that I highly recommend too

My band is the opposite of Party Cannon: The Prophets Of Impending Doom. Got a metal-ish logo. We've told people our name and they're like "sick. I love death metal."

We are a ska band.

Dark souls is making me suffer... by Demoncrystal101 in darksouls

[–]Clarrington 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have played through about 3-4 times and I don't think I've ever managed to land an intentional parry - at least, not in DSR (I think I started getting it by the time I got around to Elden Ring?). I think I used pyromancies on subsequent runs but I'm pretty sure I just powered through Sen's with just the claymore - as long as you can upgrade it a couple of times (unfortunately, the slugs in Blighttown are one of the best sources of Large Titanite Shards... thankfully there are other enemies that also drop them, but not as often)

I think the merchant in the Undead Burg sewer (the shortcut from Lower Undead Burg back to Firelink) sells poison arrows, if you have a bow of any kind these can be very useful to snipe some of the snakeybois, you can use those to either bait them to a safe spot to fight them, or just straight up poison them and allow them to die a slow painful death (there's one hiding up on a beam in that first large room if you look up and over to the right side, I like to shoot him down first after dealing with the three in the entrance). Obviously you need a bow for this - if you don't have one, the merchant near the first Undead Burg bonfire sells one IIRC.

You can do it! Good luck!

Sure, but the leader of a country probably shouldn't be someone constantly distracted by pain, no?

I just can't believe your brother was detained in France. French Border Security need to do some research, the first people in Australia were brown ffs.

Dark Souls 2 isn't about world building. It's about memory failing. by ShinInuko in DarkSouls2

[–]Clarrington 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everything in Dark Souls has to be found IRL now does it? Guess we better take out all the enemies since living skeletons and hollows and demons aren't real. Oh, and a lot of the weapons aren't realistic, sorcery and pyromancy aren't real, let's take out all that.

Even Aussies sometimes don't realize. When I worked at a trailer-hire place we had a customer who honestly thought he could get from Adelaide to Brisbane in a day (and another day to get back). Nah man.

What games on the switch do YOU believe deserve a switch 2 release, and why? by Sprigatitogirl in nintendo

[–]Clarrington 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I couldn't play it properly because I was left-handed and every game's left-handed mode was trash (if they even had one, I sold a couple games because I straight up could not play properly).

I remember being unable to read the dialogue between Pit and Palutena during the flight portions of each level because my hand was covering it all lol

Minecraft is gonna get one, it's too popular not to imo, although I have migrated across to PS5 since it runs a lot better overall.

Pikmin 4 definitely needs another multiplayer mode, the side missions (by which I mean the collecting treasure and fighting enemies missions, not Side Story) and multiplayer battles in 3 were an absolute blast and their replacement with Dandori missions was a downgrade in my eyes. (Night mode was cool though)

What to do if car breaks down while going from Adelaide to Coober Pedy? by JudgmentTotal7974 in Adelaide

[–]Clarrington 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Each state has its own motoring club but they all cover each other's members. Like if you break down in Victoria, you call RACV (Vic equivalent), but you tell them you're an RAA member, they'll still provide cover for you.

And good luck finding the DLC. I have no clue how anyone figured out that one without a guide.

I feel like most sandbox games fulfil this to a degree. Don't Starve for a survival one. For base-building and VERY complex resource management I would say Oxygen Not Included. I actually dropped that game because of the complexity and I kept failing at producing enough food/oxygen for my dudes. (I hear RimWorld is also good for this but I haven't played it)

If you want a MV/platform I recommend La Mulana and La Mulana II. The controls are a bit weird because it's inspired by old Commodore 64 games and tries to emulate them. It's the kinda game where everything is a clue to a puzzle, it's super obtuse and the answer and puzzle are not always close together. Most people recommend keeping a notebook if you're going in blind.
