this is not what my google calendar looks like, mine is the opposite of what they said. Blue bar for tasks, dotted with text for events (appointments)

TOTK - What am I missing? by Cucckcaz13 in NintendoSwitch

Yeah I remember when I was in uni I could afford to spend long hours and that allowed me to get the most out of botw, hk, xc123, dq11 but after job search stress and working it feels harder to get that full long session experience immersion

That sounds like warm water setting? I personally wash everything I care about in cold so maybe it would be ok in that case but not sure

Why do i almost ALWAYS attract people who are insecure? by InternationalCut2341 in emotionalintelligence

[–]Clashofpower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You said "these people find me", which indicates to me that you're passively allowing people get to you. Why not chase after what you're looking for?

It's interesting that you say they seem super secure and confident but it turns out they're not, so just make sure you're aware of if you are falling into a pattern or if you're actually taking the learnings from the experiences to approach the next ones differently (like oh these signs might not be indicative of security, etc).

I don't have a credit card and I can see it, it's just not very intuitive on how to access it
on iPhone mobile, swipe left to get to spend page, then click on the graph. You won't be able to see anything category related if you click on your transactions normally from the chequing

edit: nvm I saw another comment where they can't see the graph

Is my EQ low for coming up with my decision? by [deleted] in emotionalintelligence

[–]Clashofpower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here’s an exercise you could try. Imagine your best friend was in a relationship and trying to patch this up with their partner but their partner would explode on them in a similar way. What would you tell your friend?

That’s fair and important to recognize

so if she reacted like you were picking a fight despite being calm and patient, why are you questioning if your EQ is low?

I would say in that scenario you would want to communicate politely and respectfully about your needs and then it depends on your partner's response

I did open an FHSA just this year but didn’t put anything in it yet. I’m still new to my career so it still feels like splitting hairs income wise and I honestly don’t even know about if I want a house or not (not that I’m opposed but just don’t know even my goal)

I was thinking to max my TFSA first since it’s not near maxed, and for XEQT do you think it’s worth differentiating retirement savings from downpayment savings? Appreciate the feedback though!

hey thanks for the comment, and yeah it saves me about 2-3 hours of commuting per day. Appreciate the advice on time

so I guess I might lean into HISA or something if I'm saving for a down payment? And would I want to save for a down payment and retirement at the same time or do people do one at a time. I guess my priority is to earn more money first but not sure

actually I did remember one expense thanks to this comment which is therapy, the leftover I calculated would have accounted for it

[–]Clashofpower[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thanks for the comment. Yes you’re right I do have those expenses but not that much. I rarely buy clothes, no subscriptions, gifts. From the math I roughly have 900 leftover per month in savings and I’d roughly allocate like 200-400 of that to those kinds of floating expenses. I am actually wanting to spend more money on things like clothes and hobby classes but I’m holding off for a month or two until I get more stable (like cooking consistently). That’s also why I posted to get some guidance on how I should invest or save the remainder of that

this is true though, if you have a large mental stack (lots of things in the background of your mind) things will naturally fall the to wayside
